If Haye doesn't fight Wlad, Vitali or Chagaev... enter Boytsov?!

If Ruslan can't legally force Haye to honor his mandatory, what -if I understand correctly- he's gonna try, the next guy on the WBA list is SNV.
But he's not available right now due to injury (I heard a 6000lbs tree fell on his leg and left a scar), so we should -according to the rules- look at the next available guy!

WBA HW Rankings October 2010 (Why are they always a month behind?)

    Champion: David Haye (25-1, 23KO's)

    #1: Ruslan Chagaev (27-1-1, 17KO's)

    #2: Nikolay Valuev (50-2, 34KO's)

Denis just got back after an injury (don't know what), and fights tommorow against tricky Mike Sheppard (15-11, 8KO's) :bbb
If he gets past his next opponent (wich isn't easy against such a dangerous guy), but let's say he will... He would and should be the mandatory for Haye.

What do you guys think? Will this happen if the K2 negotiations fall apart again, or isn't this going to happen either? :think

I am worried that you sound unsure about Boytsov against a guy with a 15-11 record.

If not Valuev, they'll somehow come up with Ustinov, mark my words. Boytsov is way too high risk/reward for Haye, it's not gonna happen.

If it's not Chagaev I would be surprised if the mandatory for Haye is *NOT* a Sauerland fighter. My chips are on Valuev. The mandatory defense isn't due before April 2011, possibly enough time for Sugar Nico to get in shape and get ready after surgery.

    On the tree presumably?
I heard his injury was sustained domesticating a herd of savage honey badgers? :huh

If Haye doesn't take either Wlad or Vitali, he's better off retiring.

He will be absolutely hounded if he takes on someone other than those two, and rightly so.

Valuev has zero interest on a rematch with Haye. He said Haye ran like a chicken all night and he wants to share the ring with real men only from now on.
Chagaev has a good fight lined up tomorrow against Travis Walker who will be a bigger test for Chagaev than Haye because Walker has a better chin.

So its either a unification bout, a mandatory against Chagaev or Boytsov or, most likely, Haye will just pay off the WBA to get the super belt gifted for doing nothing like Sturm did for example so he can duck his mandatory and take on the next handpicked bum while promising to fight the klits.

Either Haye fights Chagaev (or whoever the WBA declares to be the mandatory) or one of the Klits. No more cherry picking.

Just found out Chagaev is fighting on the same card tomorrow against Tragic Walker :bbb
And Manuel Charr is going to beat up the "mall gunman" Robert Hawkins (he had it coming) :yep

Agree, CHag will be a handful for Haye.

I hope Chag gets the fight, if Haye won't fight one of the brothers, of course.
