The idea of Haye fighting a high risk/low reward opponent!

I look forward to watching Chagaev tomorrow night, it will be a good indicator of whether he has still got it after the Wlad fight. He looked good enough to beat Haye in the Meehan fight

He must face Chagaev. His Hep B is stable so no excuses whatsoever.

It's the WBA, you sometimes don't even have to win or even fight to get a high rank there... At least he won all his fights.

If Haye does not fight Klitschko's for unification he will have to fight Chagaev. Hep-B is not a issue since WBA sanctioned the eliminator with Chagaev in it. They cannot backpedal now - not without a scandal and lawsuits.

Why would Adamek risk his mandatory position (= more money and no rematch options) with the WBO for a shot at Wlad and instead go for a voluntary title shot at Haye's WBA strap, for less money with a shitty rematch clause and option contract?

I wish Haye would just go away and never come back, cant we just pretend he never existed.
The guy talked so much **** and never backed it up
imagine if Ali ducked Liston, Frazier, Foreman after talking all that smack?

I think Haye finds a way to dodge his mandatory and do a all Brittish mega fight with Danny Williams or Michael Sprott seeing as they both have wins over Audley and all.
We know by now that Sky can pretty much make anyone in the UK believe that someone is a legit challenger no matter who it is.

Nah i dont think we would fall for that bull**** again.

I felt like a right twat, Audley talked so much hype, i really thought he would do a Buster Douglas. Normally i always get my predictions right. But this one made me lose face, Ive been winding my brother up for a year now since he predicted Hatton would K pac TFO. Now he keeps bringing up Audley Harrison.....
David Haye your a disgrace, pelase retire and give your belt to Adamek who desreves it more than you.

Oh man, you poor guy you actually picked Audley ?
Yeah .... i mean picking Hatton was pretty bad but i think your brother will need 1 pretty damn bold pick to even the score now.

In all fairness though me and a few friends here in Holland watched it on German tv and we all were shocked how badly Audley froze.
We all expected that he would melt down but 1 jab in 3 rounds ? that was possibly the worst performance in a title fight that i have ever seen.

What bugs me though is that Haye gets all this media attention for this disgusting fan cash scam from Sky but a actually awesome fight that DESERVES UK media attention with Froch vs Abraham gets nada.

The WBA has no or at most little hand in this Bremen. It's the boxing commission in the locality of the fight that determines if a fighter receives medical clearance/licensing to fight.

If Hayes team wins a purse bid, gets the right to stage the fight in UK and suppose they (BBBofC) either don't clear Chagaev to fight or require Davey to be vaccinated and he declines (like Valuev did in Finland), then he skates by fighting Chagaev.

Universum is gonna have to put up some big money to back Chagaev and win a purse bid or fight for him to get his shot at Haye, and I'm not so sure they have that money to throw around on Chagaev.
