I don't think the Adamek fans are very realistic...Adamek is a small heavyweight who is very skilled and fast, but no power at heavyweight. Haye is a big, fast, highly skilled and very powerful heavyweight. He can box well and fight it out too. He has a questionable chin but not bad enough that Adamek would trouble him. Adamek can only win by out boxing Haye, but even that is doubtful since Haye is a very good boxer himself and possesses height and reach advantages plus that power which would probably keep Adamek weary and quite tentative to open up. Haye by KO in middle rounds I'd say.

Being black and slick doesnt equall skills.

    Adamek has better combinations

Adamek uses bigger variety of punches

    Adamek has better technique

    adamek has better jab

sorry to point it out but u fail :hi:

haye has better power and is a litl bit faster, more explosive

But Still Adamek has advantages over him on following aspects; chin, stamina, workrate, experience, Balls and Above mentioned overall skills.

Also there is no doubt in my mind that he could hurt him. Lets remember ppl were calling adamek a puncher at cw, he scored some 1 punch knockouts in his carrer in lower weights, and yes he can hurt hw's if he doesnt have to reach high.

Considering all of the above; adamek KO9

Adamek on points, while Haye is strong and good, Adamek is hungrier and has more to prove...this will lead to complete focus and dedication to the point that it will be more than enough to compensate for other shortcommings. Haye is delusional and while he should be able to kick Adamek's ass it won't happen, because he will underestimate Adamek's drive and perseverenve and as a result will be under-trained and not perpared. Adamek is getting better and better, Haye's inactivitiy will take a toll as gradual ring rust will take his toll, also his inactivity coupled with his taking on fighters that are not at his level will lead to him becomming complacent and his fight skill ad******g to the level of competition he is taking on.

haye stops him in a mildly competitive war. adamek has shown he dont belong at hw, he dont have the power nor the chin.

Adamek is well schooled in the fundamentals but has never shown me the ability to adapt in a fighter and this for me was the biggest reason he lost to Dawson.

Haye can fight in different ways either pressing or countering on the back foot. Think about the variety of fighters size and styles that Haye has faced and he never uses the same game plan. Adamek fights everyone in the same way although I accept he is a technically sound fighter.

Save the balck = slick carp for the Black American fighters. Haye has skills (amateur pedigree), smarts and killer instinct.

I actual think, Adamek can beat Haye if can avoid Haye punches and make him work. Big ask mind. Haye either knocks Adamek out inside 5 rounds or Adamek comes on strong over rounds 9-12 as Haye gases. If Haye gases i think Adamek can stop him.

Adamek loves to fight which makes him perfect for Haye. Even if Hayes speed does not catch him early I just think he would want to mix it to much. If he starts trading bombs with Haye he gets knocked out.

Yes I know he has a good jaw, but it is not a Valuev jaw. If Haye can chicken dance the giant he will nail Adamek.

This is one of the better fights at HW right now....

BUT Adamek would have to risk his WBO mandatory position.

And Haye would be taking a big risk, even if he likes his chances.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 2 camps are discussing this fight as it needs to happen (it should have happened instead of the Fraudley fight). But there are too many factors working against it. It's a big risk for both parties...both parties are risking future money fights against the Klitschkos.

I think if Haye takes a fight after Audley and prior to a mandatory or unification fight, then it will be someone like Mormeck, Guillermo Jones, or Holyfield. Someone old, not threatening...not a Top 5 heavy like Adamek.

Adamek has been preparing to fight a Klit and will finish what he started. He will get his fight with Wlad or Vitali and then probably chase Haye win or lose. If Adamek beats Wlad or Vitali he can go 50/50 with Haye in a big fight...if he loses he's still an attractive opponent for Haye down the road.

So I'm not seeing this fight happening in 2011 unless Adamek can topple a Klit...maybe 2012 if Haye decides to stick around.

Adamek was powerful against any1 his size.

adamek and haye are the same size.

even though hes not much of a puncher at HW. he can give haye trouble as long ass adamek punches in volume.

I beleive haye is more powerful though.

but adamek has a chin and wont be KOED as easy as people expect due to his height.

Haye hasnt fought any HW that is as fast as him and throws with volume.

Haye only fought big heavyweights some with punching power but none NEAR as quick as him and some were just bodybags (not diminishing haye) Haye hasnt seen anything like adamek.

at the same time although adamek has fought in lighter divisions and fought and beaten guys faster than haye some were more skilled "ring IQ wise"
BUT he has never fought a heavyweight in his speed range with decent power.

even though haye is versatile adamek himself can adapt and tends not to break under pressure and not cocky.

haye on the other hand is cocky and is likely to underestimate adamek. Possibly go 80-100 percent for 5 rounds are so assuming hes going to outright kill adamek within 5 and become gassed giving adamek a chance to take advantage of majority of rounds.

on the ring IQ end i would have to give it to adamek.

my Odds in my opinion is 6 to 4 haye being the underdog.

its not a fight i would bet on but if i had a gun to my head and 100 bucks in my hand and a guy telling me to bet. Id feel more comfortable betting on adamek.

    adamek SD or UD

I like a lot of this

The thread starter is right this is the next big fight at the weight

Haye will try and blast him out early like Ruiz but may get caught like Cunnigham did when he gets over agressive

Haye is a weak finisher if the first punch does not KO you he head hunts wildly rather than be patient jab and hit the body

adamek who has a wide variety of fast punches will punch between Haye's shots and may drop him like the cunningham fight

Adamek is fast enough and throws enough to tire Haye who has gassed before

Haye will not know how to handle a fight where a guy can catch up to the speed handle the power and attack back in high volume

if Haye doesnt KO him he will most likely lose
