If Haye fights Adamek next, who would win?

Adamek would have trouble with the speed..

Adamek is a good fighter........NOT TOUCHING EITHER KLITSCHKO, POVETKIN, OR HAYE

 

I've under-rated Adamek in the past. He's better than a lot of people give him credit for being. This fight is one of the best (in terms of competitiveness) that could be made at the upper end of the heavyweight division.

I still think Haye wins it, though. 60/40 in Haye's favour.

 

Adamek would knock Haye out.

 

IMO Adamek would be the toughest opponent Haye has ever fought. Think about it, it took Haye 10 rounds to stop a 38 year old, over-the-hill Ruiz, how on earth would he stop a prime Adamek within 3 rounds? How would that make sense?

Has was wobbled by lesser guys such as Thompson, Mock and Mormeck. Don't you think a decent fighter like Adamek could give Haye trouble? I mean it's a possibility isn't it?

 

I can only see a Haye stoppage win in this.

Everyone is going on about how Adamek will keep coming forward and winnning rounds. wake up people or learn boxing, If Adamek does his usual steam forward with face for a defence thing against a fighter whos main qualitys in this fight are reach, speed, power and timing he will get stopped. If Adamek tries to stay on his toes on the outside he is giving Haye time to pick his shots and get off first and fight at Hayes pace.

The only way Adamek beats Haye is by holding centre ring and hope he can draw Haye into a war because as long as Haye uses range and timing (Adamek doesn't have a particularly good defence) the power will eventually get to Adamek.

 

Adamek drops him on the way to a decision.

 

I like Adamek for the upset here, but Haye wouldn't take this fight.

Adamek would physically pay the price but he would find a way or the will to win, I'd compare this closest to the Cunningham fight although how many more big punches can Adamek take. He has one major thing Haye doesnt, Heart. It's def the biggest imo non-Klitchko HW fight to be made but instead see Haye taking on a Mormeck or Holyfield instead.

Meanwhile met Adamek again very briefly last week, very nice guy, vibe.

 

Haye by KO early on

 

Adamek has improved his defence since training with Roger. Haye aint faster and doesnt have better timing than Adamek. Haye has more power and is slightly bigger. This is why he keeps winning by KO (despite Valuev fight). Adamek on the other hand is a better boxer and seems to be much smarter in the ring.

The Haye's range and timing is not a problem for Adamek. He beat Cunningham who has much bigger reach than Haye and has fast hands too. The only thing that Adamek should respect is Haye's power together with the speed. As you said he has a good timing, so when he lands a big right hand, it may be over (if he does it in the beginning of the round). Otherwise SD or MD for Adamek.

 

cunningham does not have faster hands than haye

the only thing they have in common is their skin colour and it ends there.

haye is stronger faster and more explosive than cunningham, he can box, adamek is a brawler at heart.

 

Not an Adamek fan but after watching Haye/Barrett I think it's easy to decide Adamek KO's him.
