Haye was in a no lose situation. He's the #1 contender, all the other contenders are a joke, so whoever he actually fights is the real champion.

In this case, it wasn't Wlad. He got stuck with a bum named Chagaev.

So if Haye-Vitali goes through, it is for all the marbles.

    **** Wlad-Povetkin.

What did Haye do to beocme the number 1 contender?

And Haye-vitali WILL not be the real HW championship.

he's the undisputed champion at the weight class below. That alone is enough.

Vitali is an enormous challenge, far more difficult than Wlad present. The winner is the best in the division, no doubt.

This just shows how **** this divison is.....haye on his mouth alone has generated excitment........haye was the underdog in both fights against the K bros....so it really doesnt matter which one he fights....

    :good

Wladimir is No. 1 at Heavyweight. To become the No. 1 you had to beat the No. 1.

I do not believe it. Why in hell is Vitali fighting Haye instead of let him wait for Wlad.

Haye had to fight his way on top and than challenge Wlad in 2010.

Wlad hat to make his mandatories but Haye is Wlad´s opponents.

Not a good idea from Vitali.

jisi, i agree with you overall, but do know what a klitschko win over haye would do to his perception world wide.....haye just by his big mouth generated the most talked about fight since lennox/vitali.....it would do wonders for either Klitschko if they beat haye.....thats all i'm saying...

give me a break. An undisputed CW champion has much more credibility than a fat ass like Arreola or unproven commodities like Dimitrenko or Boytsov. Who the **** would be the #1 contender in your eyes?

First of all the jump for CW to HW is not comparable to a jump from lets say WW to LM. The cruiserweights are below 200 while heavyweights are often in the range of 240-250 lbs. Besides its not like he swept the CW division. He beat two guys Mormeck and Maccaroni, one over the hill the other unproven. He never beat Steve Cunningham for the IBF title.

why? because Wlad is clearly better than Vitali?
I didn't predict a Haye win, but let's be clear, Vitali has always been and remains a better fighter than Wlad. A win over Ruslan Chagaev doesn't change that, guy.

I know enough about boxing to realize the facts. Wlad had to fight his mandatories! For the IBF Alexander Povetkin until the end of 2009. And maybe than the winner of Dimitrenko/Chambers for the WBO.

Haye had challenge Wlad and pulls out. Wlad wants to fight Haye so in my opinion Vitali should not fight Haye.

Wladimir is a better fighter than Vitali. Wlad had better opponents and much more title defenses with some mandatories. He worked hard to improve his boxing skills. And it works. Today he is a much better fighter than he ever was before and i believe he will getting better from fight to fight.

The idea that whoever beats Haye at heavyweight is the champ.

So if Tua beats Haye, Tua is the "real Heavyweight champion"? Regardless of anything either Klitschko has done? What about Toney? Povetkin? Don't tell me Haye is a sure thing against Tua, Toney or Povetkin, either.
