If Haye fights Vitali on Sept 12, it will be for the real HW championship

By your logic it sounds as though the challenger brings the belt to the equation, not the champion. Wlad is the real boss at heavyweight.. Off the topic slightly I can appreciate what Haye did at Cruiserweight but he really should have taken on Cunningham before going up to Heavyweight as that would have left no uncertainity as to his reign at cruiser by taking all the belts and because I believe Cunningham was far more dangerous than Enzo or Mormeck.

Joe Jockstrap KO's Tua at this stage.

But, Vitali is the best HW. Inactivity only caused the question. But since he's back beating ass again, he should be put back on the throne. His kid brother has not achieved that level of superiority yet. This is why Vitali Haye is for everything.

But what does Vitali-Haye prove that Vitali-Peter or Vitali-Gomez didn't? Don't tell me Haye is a more credible challenger than Gomez?

    Exactly.

He beat a decent level champion in Mormeck, who has always had stamina problems. Mormeck was walking the bigger man down and dropped him pretty heavily.

He then went on to beat the 2nd best champion (according to Fwank Warren and the British press) in Maccaranelli, yes it was a good win but Enzo's recent loss puts Hayes win into perspective. Enzo was a B-level champion.

Two swallows doesnt make a summer.

In my opinion Adamek has had better victories in Cunningham and Banks.

Haye was less dominant at cruiser than Wlad has been at HW since 2004. Haye had competitive fights with fighters like Fragomeni, who would never land a single punch on Wlad.

Chagaev has accomplished a lot more H2H than Haye, he was undefeated in the pros unlike Haye, never been knocked down before Wlad, in amateurs and pros, unlike Haye.

Haye only has 23 pro fights and turns 29 this year. He is supposed to be oh so exciting, what is so exciting about a guy self - promoting and rarely fighting.

There is an element of truth in what your saying however the tides have somewhat changed in watching Wlad destroy Chagaev he was clearly ready for Haye , and having watched that fight you'd now have to make Haye the underdog if you didnt already .

I make Wlad the #1 HW in the world ahead of his brother , putting title's aside he is now a better fighter than his bro , a little bit more chinny all be it , but clearly a better fighter .

I think Haye should just blitz the field before fighting the brothers what has he got to lose by smashing Peter , Chagaev , Arreola & co before getting to the brothers .

If you ask me Haye to loses to Wlad and woould still be an underdog to Vitali . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very much so. Wlad is the dominant heavyweight and the man to be beaten, not Vitali and definitely not Haye, who brings credibility with his undisputed CW champ status, but is yet to beat a ranked heavyweight contender.

I'm no Klitschko lover but Wlad to me is the Heavyweight Champion,Vitali the number 1 contender.Haye should be ranked somewhere like number 10 because he simply hasn't done anything to be ranked higher. How by beating Vitali, Haye could be regarded as Champion without beating Wlad is beyond me. It will be all purely academic anyway if he ever fights them because he won't go beyond 3 rounds with either.

:goodAgreed. IMO, Vitali is the best at HW; **** the belts, if Wlad wasn't around then Vitali would have cleaned up the division.

It's all about the money, mate. Vitali gets more money fighting Haye than anyone else. Do you really think an army of Americans will cross the pond to spend money to watch one of their own? NO!

Also, if you looked at the rankings of the big four you'd realise Haye is ranked well by the WBC and WBO. Admittedly, Haye hasn't earned those rankings through HW fights but at the end of the day it all comes down to the dosh.

Why would I want the Cruiserweight's division opinion on the Heavyweight division? :think If they (the tops from each) all got into a big rumble like the Jets and Sharks am I to believe the smaller guys would prevail? Even as **** poor as the unlimited scene is today, I don't buy that.

Yes it would, but I think most would agree that it would do a bigger wonder for Wlad to be the guy to do it. Despite the dominance, Wlad is the one that people are moaning about, they want him to prove he's tough and can handle a fighter like Haye. Vitali has already proven he can, he just plain has done better against gung-ho, bomb-throwing fighters than Wlad has - so far.

On the flip side, Wlad has proven himself against boxers like no one else I've ever seen, so we already know what's going to happen when he's in with a boxer.
