It was no Fluke. McCall trained for it with Emanuel Steward. Emanuel discussed this himself on "Ringside." And Emanuel agreed with the stoppage. Lewis goes right back down. His balance was off. But hey, it would have been good to see it finished off. Lewis could have been seriously hurt. Now with McCall, funny thing is, he was actually said to be Great in the Gym Sparring but Froze up during fights. Tommy Morrison mentioned this. So have others. Mentally, McCall was a mess. Tyson smashed Bruno before Lewis got him. And Bruno was troubling Lewis up until that haymaker out of left-field to turn the fight around. Lewis fought a lot of Tyson left-overs. And if McCall wasn't good, what's that say about Lewis?
This thread is getting ridiculous now. Tyson at his best snacks on Haye's style. Haye don't have that extra it takes to stop Mike's aggression. (First off he don't have the punch resistance)
Tyson never got knocked out by a 40-year old light heavyweight. I'd say anglo and sherpa suffer from an obvious case of E.I.C. European Inferiority Complex
Tyson never pussed out of back to back fights with the Klits though. And in what way, shape or form is Mayweather a choke artist.
Iron Mike has a couple of one-punch KOs at Heavyweight. Haye has none. Haye can knock heavyweights DOWN multiple times with combinations, but he has yet to knock one OUT, let alone with a single punch. How one would even dare to compare Mike's HW punching power with Haye's is beyond me.
It was a fluke, Lewis was able to continue, it was a home town cooking, Lewis walked forward, he was fine, Mccall would have been decimated by ill-prepared Lewis, we all saw how Lewis smashed him into oblivion in the rematch, no wonder the ref prematurely ended it. Frank Bruno smashed up McCall, old slow Bruno, I rest my case. Lewis killed Tyson, literally killed him, he ****ed up Holyfield twice too, the same Holyfield that decimated Tyson, Lewis reg beat up Tyson in sparring, Lewis was a billion times better, a fat old out of shape Lewis smashed a prime Vitali that has ruled the HW division for nearly a decade, who has Tyson beat?
If Haye had been around in the mid 80's, he would have stayed at cruiser. There is no chance a guy like him would have stepped in with Tyson.
Thiompson former world champ? watch the fight again dimwit, Haye wasn't Ko'ed , and it was his 10th pro fight, he gassed, try watch boxing before you comment on it? If Haye is pussing out against Klits, then Mayweather is trying to get to the moon to be clear of Pac, terrible post!
