If Wlad beats him like a red-headed step child, or simply puts him in a coma for a week, will Haye retire? I don't think his ego could stand being shattered like that. I say he calls it quits.

I think he would. He's made a fair amount, seems sensible enough to manage it well, and has a promotional company and plenty of opportunity within British media to sustain him afterwards.

Yes I think he would. A fight with Vitali would become pointless and he wouldn't be able to make good money fighting anyone else as his image would be ruined. He also comes across as a shrewd business man so I wouldn't imagine that he'd need to return for the money.

I think he's implied his career is almost over anyways, so win or lose this might be his last fight. If the guy gets KO'd there is really nothing more he can do in boxing, unless he wants to put himself through the long process of earning a rematch, which is doubtful.

I doubt Haye would ever fight again. With his ego and the way he talks trash, I don't think he would continue fighting if he gets completely handled by Wladimir.

Haye's got a good chance at winning this fight, he's just got to hold and give but do it at the right time. He can be slow or fast but he's got to get to the line. Wlad'll always hit him and hurt him. He's got to defend and attack, there's one way to beat him, get round the back.

Catch him if you can, he's the England man and what you're looking at is the master plan.

To be honest I don't think he'll care that much. His mouth's all about making money. That's how he sold the Harrison fight to so many idiots. He'll be ****ing loaded, win or lose.

He retires even if he wins. He doesn't want to fight Vitali or any other top 10 heavy after his big payday.

Haye is a complete ego-maniac. If he loses, you'll never see him again. If he wins, he'll be so completely in love with himself that he'll think he can conquer any HW. No chance of retirement at that point.
