http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=20031&more=1 This cover page reported that Haye had a hand injury and would be out for 6-8 weeks. It said it was all on the news and the net.

I just don't know what to think. Either the initial news about his injury and time he'd be off were wrong or he had multi injuries that one wasn't as serious as first thought or they may have thought they needed more time to prepare so they made the injury bigger than it was then when there was talk of the canceled fight they tried to keep it by saying it was a three week injury.

It's spelled Ghaye in old English the G is silent so in America they spell it Haye.

There are some champion wankers on this site.
Haye never said his ****ing hand. (that is the press jumping to conclusions) christ he is a boxer and what is the most commen injury for a boxer.? I wont even answer that you dumb ****s.
He only wants the fight delayed by 3 weeks. Adiquate time to recover from a muscle injury. Which it probably is. (in his back before the ******s start).
Christ 3 ****ING WEEKS that is all. not years or months.
If klit turns that down then it is pretty obvious who is avoiding who.

That article never had any quotes from Haye, Booth or anyone else from Hayes camp. It was that kind of story that was spreading the rumour.

There have been rumours flying around for a while that Haye has some kind of problem with his hand. I don't know if there's anything in them or not but people just jumped to conclusions when it came out that he was injured.

I thought they said they told Wlad's people right away, as the were contractually bound to do that. However, in this article is says that they had been thinking about it (enough to mention it to Setanta) "two or three weeks ago".
Why didn't they mention it to Kitschko's team so they would have more adequate time to set up a plan B?

1). Haye is an overhyped boxer hardly known anywhere outside of the island where the sun never shines.

2). Haye hasn't said a peep since the news of his alleged injury came out.

3). Klitschko did not have to fight Haye in the first place, so all this talk about Klitschko looking for an excuse to avoid this fight is bollocks (is that the word they use on that stinky island?). This is a VOLUNTARY title defense for Klitschko.
