If Haye knocked out Vitali, would you favor him over Wlad?

    Good post, I think thats the what most are banking on. Haye's chin collapsing from the first big punch a Klitscko lands on him. I myself dont have an answer to that question, but thats what I'm so eager to find out. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

    One could only hope. Wlad's been champ for over 3 years now, since beating Bryd in april of 06, and heavyweight boxing is no popular world wide. I think Haye has the personality and fighting style to do that, if only his chin wasn't weak it seems. Though we shall find out soon enough, I just hope it magically turns stronger, which I doubt.

    i think haye's best chance to beat vitali is a "shock and awe" type strategy.....vitali is used to seeing slow guys now....i.e. peter, gomez......i could see vitali hurt if haye came out like a bat out of hell.....and say if it didnt work....then after the 4th round become the speedy counter-puncher which haye is......

    If Haye could knock out Vitali, it would only be after being in a war that would undoubtedly render him into the damaged goods category of boxing. I would favor Wlad to 1. Learn from Vitali's mistakes and 2. Fight a defensive minded fight with the goal of wearing down Haye then knocking him out late.

    A good example of this is Wlad vs Sanders. Vitali learned from Wlad's mistakes and developed a strategy for beating Sanders while avoiding his power.

    Derrick just to remind you of Wlads record . Pro 53 - 3 [47 ko's] Amateur 134 - 6 Olympic gold medalist. Not bad for a bloke who can't fight. I reckon you're a pommie just stirring the possum but if Haye ever ko'd either of the Klitschko's I'd walk naked to the South Pole.

    The only way Haye can beat the Klitschko's is with his mouth.

    61.000 people watched the fight Wlad vs. Chagaev in the arena! It was the biggest indoor boxing event ever. Every fight from Wlad is selled out.

    Nobody needs boy David.

    David Haye should fight his way to the top. Beating some worthy contender and than fight The Champion.

    Maybe Toney Thompson, Hasim Rahman, Samuel Peter.

    Noone knows who Wlad is in the states, why do you think neither showtime or HBO wanted a piece of the action once Haye was out of the picture? They knew there was no profit in Chagaev/Wlad.

    Of course Wlad's filling up seats in Germany, just like Calzaghe fills up arena's in and around Wales. They fight in the states they couldn't even fill up half of what they do abroad. Unless there taking on very popular oppenent.

    I think if haye were to ko vitali ud have to pick him against any1 in hw boxing now.

    Vitalis a beast. I still wanna c the fight though.

    I still dont see how Haye would cope with Wlads skill, speed and power.

    Hayes only chance imo is to hit and ko Wlad early and i dont think he would get the chance.

    If anything he may get to hit Vitali more than Wlad as Vitali is more likely to get stuck into a fight with Haye. Wlad would keep him on the end of the jab and poleaxe him with the straight right.
