Haye knows that Vitali of Vlad would knock him out. He broke two contracts with them and ran like Hell!

He has to cover himself. This fight makes him a lot more money and gives him better negotiations with either Wlad or Vit. If he was to fight one of them now and loose the Audley fight isnt half as big.

How does a win over harrison make a fight with wlad or vitali bigger?

I think Haye's recent interview, where he admits to needing improvement in some areas of his game is an indirect way of finally admitting he's not ready to take on the K brothers.

Seems rediculous out of a guy who ran his mouth as Haye did, but he's apparently seen the reality of the situation, so.

Maybe in the next year or so, he'll think he's ready, but for now, he seems to acknowledge that he is not.

Schaefer mentioned the fight getting interest from US TV.

It seems odd, as Harrison isn't a name, but maybe the fact he's a gold medalist is key. It certainly wouldn't make a bad undercard fight, anyway. Just show the fight a couple of hours later, on the undercard of a US show and it would be a success.

US expansion is key for Haye right now. They need to build him up to make the fight a global success.

There already was intrest from HBO... just like the first Wlad/Haye fight....

NO WAY a win over harrison does anything to help a Klitschko fight. In all honesty, I think the damage is already done. IMO the brothers will not deal with haye.

IMO it will take a lot for haye to get them to the table again any time soon (after harrison fight) and why should they.

Fight with wlad cancelled....Haye wont rematch
Fight with Vitali... negotiated and signed by Vitali...Haye vanished
    Wlad calls out Haye....Haye vanished

Haye beats Harrison (maybe) haye wil.......VANISH Again:yep

If they don't deal with him, then it's them ducking Haye.

Honestly, I feel if the situation was reversed, a lot of people would still think Haye is at fault. Had he been the one who offered a ridiculously bad contract, he'd have been blamed and rightly so. If Wlad had pulled out, people would have understood. If Wlad was offered a better contract and he'd taken it, he wouldn't be blamed and so on.

Haye playing the bad guy has brought a lot of this hate on, but I don't think his actual actions are as bad as made out. It happens so often in boxing.

    Haye was offered

    38% of the pot
Rematch to fight Wlad if he won (standard..like Valuev got)
Fight with Vitali if Haye won again....which HAYE WANTED

    then

Haye couldnt get the stadium... actually wouldnt get the stadium so it all changed to what it was

Wlad got the stadium, paid for all pressers and fight week expenses for both teams ETC.....

38% for a guy who at the time had fought BARETT ONLY

38% for a voluntary defense is HUGE!!!!
