Little dought boy he may be, but his stamina is way better than Haye's, this is not a bodybuilding contest.

The heavywieghts that worry me the most with Haye are the ones with good technique, who can hold there guard high and counter. The eastern european fighters are the best at this. Cheagev is in my mind the best of them (not named klitscho) but Povetkin is a very skilled guy too. He has very fast hands and counters well. Just because he's been hit in the past doesn't mean he'd get hit in this fight. I can easily see him countering Haye and putting him on his ass. Also I can see him making this an in the trenches fight. I think most people would be suprised how badly Haye would do in that type of a fight. His best shots are all from distance.

Close to a 50-50 fight... but it doesn't mean it would be close on the cards. Povetkin is very talented and very busy inside the ring, so I'd pick him to easily outbox Haye who's the opposite: not really busy, picking his shot very carefully and likes to wait for counterpuncing opportunities to land the haymaker and finish off big...

Povetkin is very intelligent, he can make Haye miss with that right and I think at HW, Haye will not be as fast as Chambers, who of course could land some nasty shots... Also, Povetkin's chin was tested and it seems very good...

Of course both guys' have some devensive issues... Povetkin can be countered with quick shots if he's getting overexcited (clearly the case in the Chambers fight) and Haye just can't keep up his left hand and you can't say he can get away with it since Mormeck decked him based on that defensive hole... also, he might have stamina issues, so he either he throws a low number of punches or gets in the Thompson situation again... On the other hand, even if Povetkin's chin is good, I can definitely see Haye stopping him if he can land the haymaker, and I think his speed will be very fine at HW, so why not?

So, as I've sad I wouldn't be surprised to see any of these outcomes: Povetkin the aggressor all night, but smart aggression, takes away the Haye jab, stays very aware of the right, and if that shot is neutralized, Haye's chances will drop to outbox the Olympic champ. Also, I can see Alex stopping him in the later rounds due to accumulation of punches and a tired Haye who just can't keep up with the furious pace. Or somewhere down the road Povetkin gets overexcited or overconfident in his abilities (Chambers fight) and Haye finds the mark - KO...

I'm yet to see Haye vs. a legitimate HW, but I think he'll be as fine as at CW... still, it's the brightest HW prospect, Povetkin we're talking about, so at the very moment I'd pick him to win a wide UD...

Haye won't even fight Skelton. This poll is bogus because 1 ) it will not happen, and 2 ) if it did , Povektin wins by KO.

Povetkin would survive hayes onslaught early, and then simply wear haye down, stopping him around round 6...

    Haye will get exposed:good
