    Definitley.

Valuev is unbelievably slow and cannot use his height well at all. He has no snap or power on his punches and has a terrible workrate.

i'm not sure exactly. holyfield gave him problem with his speed by staying out of reach and giving him constant lateral movement. haye loves a tear up, he meets his opponent head on. valuev has enough imo behind his punches to worry haye, it's all about whether haye can go in with the correct gameplan. if he does that he beats valuev no problem.

although it's fairly likely that haye's handspeed when meeting him head on is just far too much for the giant and he gets bombed out trying to throw a few slow jabs whilst haye unloads combo after combo on him.

Haye would probablly land about 15 power shots while Valuev was trying to get the energy together to throw a jab.

I voted "maybe" but I want to add that Haye going for Valuev would've been good for the division since it would virtually GUARANTEE him a shot at one of the Klitschkos for unification & he'd make more money since he'd be neg. with a belt of his own.

It is slightly odd that Haye has gone straight for a Klitschko when Valuev is such a ****-poor champion, and that would have been the easiest way for Haye to have established himself as a top HW. Frank Warren says that Haye is fast tracking his career because he has hand issues, and won't be around for that long. I would never usually believe a word FW says, but it seems like one of only two explanations. The other is, Haye has real balls and wants to fight the very best the division has to offer.

If Haye actually beat Valuev he'd have a belt & that would give him more power when he neg. with either Klitschko for unification. He'd have all the cards/stars in his favor. No one could say he doesn't deserve to fight Wlad or Vitali since he'd have already beaten Valuev.

I wouldn't go that far, I love my house too much & I don't have much faith in Haye's chin.

Chagaev showed slight movement and lead power shots on the slow oaf is good enough to earn a win. Haye can certainly do that imo. But if he gasses or does something stupid like start leading with his sloppy and wide powershots, he could be in trouble.

anyone with decent skills and a brain could beat this fraud though.
