If Haye's a ducker then we're all duckers.

You're basically saying you don't want the fight to happen. After what he did to Wlad the first time, there is no way Wlad is canceling his plans to take Haye on his word again that he will fight him.

The step by step part is with regards to the fact Haye gets call ed a double ducker by numerous posters on here. It was directed at them to explain what they would do differently and explain how with what's been described above that Haye is a ducker.

As for Chisora winning it will be impossible for Haye to fight him. Chisora will still be locked in for 3 fights so if he pulls off the impossible it'll be Vitali next and if he beats Vitali it's a rematch with Wlad, all in that will take 6-10 months by which time Haye will probably be retired if he does indeed follow through with his claims.

Completely different circumstances, I doubt SkY will fold anytime soon.

I know i've heard Chisora talking about the negotiations for the fight but is it confirmed that the Klit Family clause is actually in there?

The original contract was 3 fights, I can only assume this will be the same. No way K2 risk Chisora winning and setting up a unification fight with Haye straight after.

But throwing out assumptions and going with documentable, traceable facts, would my proposal benefit Haye more? Because like I said, I've only heard rumors and whatnot of those contracts.

If I was him, I'd jump all over a Chisora fight if he upends Wlad. It'd be like a 1/20th Tyson-Douglas to capitalize on

I think that about summarizes it very well. Haye is a lying piece of **** who has pissed boxing fans in the face. Doesn't mean he's physically scared of any opponent though, I never seriously assumed he (or any other pro fighter) is.

It was confirmed by Frank Warren, Chisoras promoter.

Warren said: "This is a three-fight deal, the same deal that was offered to David Haye. There's a 50-50 agreement in it, so I don't know why Haye didn't sign it. This is a fantastic opportunity for Dereck. We believe his dream, and my dream as well, is going to become reality."

Not really. You have to remember hardcore fans are such a tiny % we're hardly noticable in the grand scheme of things. But like I said he has co-promoters to answer to.

But Haye will get only so much say in who he faces now. His next opponent is due to be Nikolay Valuev, the 7ft Russian from whom he won the title in Nuremberg last November, the second of three options that Sauerland Event, the German promoter of Valuev, has over Haye.
“Given the option, no, but if it is, it is,” Haye said when asked if he wanted to face Valuev again. “My plans are unifying the division. My performance was a good one — plenty of excitement, plenty of knockdowns, something the heavyweight division has not had for a while. It’s my duty to go out there and just make the best possible fights and give the fans some entertainment.”

    The rivals challenging for promotion
Hayemaker David Haye’s promotional company, fronted by Adam Booth, his manager — a small team that prides itself on having got as far as it has without too many ties to other companies.
Sauerland Event The promoter of Nikolay Valuev and Alexander Povetkin, the unbeaten Russian who is mandatory contender to Wladimir Klitschko’s IBF title, run by Kalle Sauerland, the son of founder Wilfried Sauerland, and Chris Meyer. It has options on Haye’s next two bouts, the first of which is due to be a rematch with Valuev — which makes it the most important player.
Don King Controlled the heavyweight scene for 20 years and now the co-promoter of Valuev. His demands were believed to have scuppered a bout between Valuev and Vitali Klitschko next month.
Golden Boy Haye’s American promoter, fronted by Oscar De La Hoya, which has tight links to HBO, the powerful US broadcaster. It will be keen to showcase him in America in his next bout, having shown him off to the press in Las Vegas last November.

The only realistic date would be late March sometime. He'd have to find and opponent, go through negotiations (more than likely have to be Chagaev), set a venue, then promote, all in the space of 11 weeks. April's out because that's Khans month and he's obviously not risking May for obvious reasons.
Then there's the fact Haye has a history of hand problems, has been cut by lesser fighters, too much to risk with at most 12 weeks to a Wlad fight.

Remember Haye doesn't dispose of opposition with the ease of Wlad.

What other sport is there where the athletes are financially rewarded for avoiding each other for years?

Boxing should organize itself into a league of teams, where elite fighters will have to face each other.

Man this thread is quiet, thought all the duck squad would be here defending their positions with facts displayed, looks like they want to stay well clear.

I think Haye was the guilty party in the past (aside from the first time, nobody can blame him for pulling out of that), but this time I think he has right to be annoyed. After agreeing to every petty demand and the fight being all but signed, Klitschko moves the goalposts again. I cant say Iv ever heard of anybody having 2 fights 8 weeks apart these days. The probability is Klitschko will take Chisora out but in boxing anything could happen, even if its just a cut it would delay the fight even more. I dont think we will ever see them fight eachother now which is a real shame.

That's basically where I am, I'm sure Haye was as stubborn as K2 last year, either could have bent to accomidate the other so sure he shares his part of the blame.

Can't believe this fight might not happen for Derek Chisora.:patsch
