It is truly ridiculous. They do it because they know we'll pay.

HBO might want them to fight the week after the Floyd/Pac fight. It would be a great fight for them to put on after they replay the pay per view.

That would be a smart fight to have on the undercard. I doubt Williams wants Martinez again. If WIlliams lost it would have been a sure rematch, but he really does not need him. He can just say he had a rough night and move on to an easier opponent.

Martinez - Williams deserves their own 24/7.

    Get them a May-June date.

Never going to happen. Pac/Floyd is a Top Rank/GBP show which means a TR/GBP undercard. Even if HBO would interfere and demand non-TR/GBP fights (which they never do: they accept or decline opponents but never come up with fights unrelated to the promoters of the show), it'd be hard to imagine happening. Williams-Martinez II deserves it's own free HBO show, and hopefully they (and we) will get it.

I have to believe that williams would do better in a rematch. His downfall in the first fight was purely tactical. It took him a clear 8 rounds to get adjusted to threat of Martinez overhand right. Those problems can be fixed.

Martinez, on the other hand, had problems with something that he just can't fix any more than he already did... Williams reach, stamina, and constant flicking of the jab.

I think Paul has the far greater margin for improvement if these two square off again.

    And he is not unwilling.

I would love to see to as well but it won't be on that date. The rematch will have its own night to shine.

    This.

On a side note, I would LOVE to see Amir Khan on the undercard...

Judah-Khan would be an awesome undercard fight. Both guys want it, Judah is associated with mayweather promotions, and Khan will probably be one of Manny's main sparring partners.

It won't happen. PBF/Pac is a Top Rank/Golden Boy card. PW is a Goosen guy.

It certainly won't be at the gate now will it? Less than 3K people attended.
