Mayweather would probably still take that I would imagine.

Well, if Pac does take another fighter of the year award. Say 2009 then he takes it.

    No way.

Mayweather s top 5 best wins:

    1) Ricky Hatton (undefeated, in his prime, at the time top 10 p4p)
    2) Jose Luis Castillo (Very dangerous fighter who gave money all he could handle. Top 10 p4p at the time)
    3) Diego Corrales (considered a very dangerous puncher, undefeated and promising fighter at the time. top 10-15 p4p at the time)
    4) Oscar de la Hoya (very talented fighter but past his prime at the time, top 15p4p)
    5) Zab Judah (very talented fighter but for some reason seems to lose all his bigh fights despite his enormous potential)

    Pac s top 5:

1)Juan Manuel Marquez (Great technician, in his prime, top 3 p4p)
2)Marco Barrera (In his prime, top 5 p4p in the Pac fight)
3)El Terrible Morales (past his prime but top 10 p4p at the time)
4)Oscar De La Hoya (2 fights (if we call that thing with forbes a fight) and one year and a half after mayweather, pac made him look like a shot fighter, the ring had him in their top 15 in thier top 100 issue published before the fight with Pac.)
    5) Ledwaba (Very dangerous, in his prime, top 20 p4p at the time.)

Add Hatton before DLH at No 4 and he Pacs resume is miles above money s

Yes if Pacquiao beats Hatton i would rate him above Mayweather with the slightest of margins. This is why i am still hoping for a Pacquiao Mayweather fight, even if Mayweather is the naturally larger man I would give them equal chances.

Problem with Mayweather is that his resume might be clean, but is not as impressive as he wants people to believe. ATG? definately. G.O.A.T? Only in his own mind and a selective group of nuthuggers. :rofl

Then again the decade has not ended yet and i expect Mayweather to return before it's all over.

In my mind it would be a fight beteen these two sublime fighters. Style wise i love Pac. Big heart, huge output and a fighter more than a boxer, although his boxing skills have improved incredibly over the last years. Mayweather is by far the greater technical boxer.

Btw even though many would disagree with me i feel Pacman will destroy Hatton. I have not often seen the determination he displays.

If he beats Hatton - then it's looking like he will be F.O.D.

    So far it's Hopkins.

    Tito
    Oscar
    Tarver
    Winky
    Pavlik

These are the P4P-ers he beat without dispute.

    Very close or disputed losses:
    Taylor
    Taylor
    Calzaghe

Neither PacMan or Mayweather comes close to this kind of competition.

    I think so too.

Pac is probably going to have to beat FMJ to grab the FOTD award & I highly doubt he could but you never know in boxing.
