Oscar's obssession with being accepted by Mexicans is very strange. I saw a recent 4 part interview on youtube he did to promote his book and he seems to dwell on this a bit (as well as still sticking to the bad oysters story.) Oscar needs to realize that the real reason he is not accepted is not because he beat Chavez but because he was born here in the states. Mexicans don't like Mex Americans very much and there is nothing to be done about it. They'll adopt him for a fight as with Trinidad and then disown him again as not a real Mexican the next time he fights a Mexican.

 

Most mexicans deep inside will still be rooting for DLH imo. Blood is still thicker than water

 

I know you'll be rooting for oscar to beat that midget.

The only ones that hate on him are the Die hard old school mexicans who loved Chavez, and Chavez himself.

Delahoya gives away turkeys every thanksgiving in east LA and has donated plenty of money to the Mexican American community.

Moving from 135 all the way to 147 in a fight against a Junior Middleweight who also fought at Middleweight isn't more dangerous than fighting Marquez. All votes against Pacquiao to win proves how dangerous DLH is, if it was a fight with Marquez the votes will favor Pac. Not to forget that Pac already beat him.
