If he wasn't American, would Chad Dawson get more love?

he doesn't make much noise. He might be good, but he has a bit of the Mike McCallum syndrome of not making noise to create a big matchup. Had McCallum made noise he might have gotten the fights with Hagler and Hearns and Leonard and Duran.

Probably. He doesn't have the charisma, the intensity, the personality, or the fighting style to please most American fan base or the media. However, it's not to say the guy is a bad fighter.

Yes. Americans don't support their own fighters. The often moronic 'boxing fans' in America need wrestling style antics to take an interest in one of their guys. It's a shame for the fighters really

Giving a **** about the fight = people will give a **** about you. Dawson literally looks like he doesnt care when hes fighting, why would people support someone who doesnt give a **** themselves?

All Im going to say is this. Bernard is a legend. He would be best to avoid dawson, total nightmare for bernard at this stage in his career. Prime bernard wipes the floor with chad. Chad will become undisputed light heavy champion and you are right, he gets no respect whatsoever. Ever since getting knocked down by adamek, everyone here has been calling him a chinless wonder. Bad Chad would have KO'd pascal if it wasnt for the headbutt. I hope a pascal/dawson rematch happens.
