He's a 2 weight world champion over 3 weight classes with 1 defeat while fighting in a division he hadn't grown into.
Don't get me wrong I was made up he got smashed by maidana but how good is he all bull**** aside ?

Not very high. Broner sucks. W/out a size advantage, Broner brings nothing to the table.

  3. Horrible - he tries too hard to be a shoulder roller but it don't work so well for him.

If you really pick apart his record, it shows that a) he got a couple of gifts in fights he obviously lost b) he's a hot and cold fighter depending on his opponent's style c) he won a couple of bigger fights just by weightcheating.

He's a good boxer overall, but not nearly as good as he was made out to be, and not in a million years Floyds successor.

I would rate Broner over Berto, Mayfield, Lundy.

Under Provodnikov, Porter, Thurman etc. etc. etc. etc.

I rated him pretty high until he stupidly moved up to 147. He relied on his athleticism and size/power at lower weights but his discipline and attitude have made him regress imo.

He could have been the king at 135 if he had stayed there (until Crawford came along) and be looking now to step up to 140. That's what he should have done but he believed his own hype and got found out in his last few fights.

    Lost to Quintero
    Lost to PDL
    Didn't handle Paulie well
    Got rap'd backwards by Maidana

Spend most of his career beating on smaller men

Best wins to date: DeMarco & Taylor (and DeMarco's style played perfectly into Broner's hands)

    10/10 ATG in the making

Can't handle any of the top Welter's or LW's

Too fat to make 135 anymore

The best thing he can achieve is fighting Lamont PEDerson for that shtty IBF belt that belongs to Matthysse.

    Footwork too slow
Defence not good enough (normally relies on his fast countering with power to keep people off him)
    Workrate not good enough
mentality and training habits are shocking

I think he's a good boxer, not elite or nothing. I also think he was managed poorly but promoted very well.

He is a pad up fighter like all the others. 20-30 years ago no-one would have heard about him. Below average fighter

Why so much hate always :rasta

Broner may no be the best, but he is still great boxer.even belts are handed like candies.it's still hard.there are thousands of boxers worldwide.and to be ranked top 15 fighter in your weight.it's still pretty amazing.

He's a decent fighter who should never have been fighting at 147 when he did. He should have tested the waters at 140 before considering 147. With the right attitude, he can get his career back on track but I don't see him as being able to achieve anything more than top 5 LWW or WW and picking up a few straps and defeats on the way.

    This, pretty much.

(IMO He will not get better unless he applies a work ethic to match his talent. Nearly everyone out there seemingly works harder and is more serious about it.)
