100%, it's not because I don't like him as a person that I dislike him, it's more to do with the robberies.

I would rate him the same. Maidana owned that a r s e. Broner has always been a little over rated to me. I don't think he would have beaten Crawford looking at the way Gavin Rees, was touching him up in their fight.

Same as I rate him now, purely because i ignore the bull****

Broner has some good fundamentals, very fast hands and to some extent a decent amount of power

however most of his career defining wins have come at the lower weights where he obviously drained himself for the size advantage otherwise he wouldnt have moved up in weight so fast (not to mention failing to make weight)

I was honestly intrigued with Broner early on but the size advantages he held at 130 put me off and then i was starting to come around when he was at 135 until he fought Gavin Rees . . . . whilst Rees was way too small (a mere 5'4) he showed how easy it was to tag Broner with shots proving that Broner was a far shout away from being the next floyd

Then against Malignaggi the only thing going in Broners favour was his ability to walk through Paulies shots to land something big but overall I thought Paulie outworked him and was robbed of a decision

Finally we have the Maidana fight where Broner was dominated bar the rounds where Chino seemed to be taking his foot off the gas not to gas out but in the 8th round where Broner was knocked down he immediately held onto both arms of Maidana and then when Maidana pulls free Broner immediately tried for a DQ win and when that didnt work he ran out of the ring after hearing he didnt get the robbery this time around

his last two fights show the level he is at, and at 140/147 where he doesnt have the weight advantage he had at 130/135 he will not be anything more than slightly above journeyman level

147 - Mayweather, Pacquiao, Brook, Thurman, Maidana, Khan, Karass, Alexander, Bradley, Rios, Alvarado, Marquez
140 - Garcia, Peterson, Vargas, Algieri, Provodnikov, Matthysse, Postol

Honestly Broner just seems to be waiting on for Garcia to vacate but even then the organisations dont seem to favour him

    WBC - #1 Postol #2 Matthyse #3
WBA - #1 Mauricio Herrera / Jose Benavidez #2 Thomas Dulorme
WBO - #1 Lucas Matthysse #2 Ruslan Provodnikov
IBF - Champion = Lamont Peterson #1 Cesar Rene Cuenca

Be honest how many of those fights do you see Broner actually winning? he obviously wont win another title at 147 and 140 is packed full of fighters much better than Emmanuel Taylor

The pathetic forlorn expression on Broner's face as the crowd pelted him with projectiles as he made his hasty exit from the ring after being thoroughly humiliated by Maidana was absolutely priceless. It was the anniversary of that hilarious tooling a week or so ago. The only reason I remembered that is because I recall thinking at the time what a delightful early Christmas present it was to see such a monumental bellend get embarrassed in such delicious fashion lol. The way he was prowling around the ring chewing gum during the announcements and walked over to Maidana to try and intimidate him made it even more delicious. There's nothing better than watching a bully or a really arrogant and disrespectful ******* get their comeuppance.

I know that doesn't answer your question but I just wanted to share that with you all seeing as it's the festive season and all.
