    could Ledley King have become the best centre back in Europe?

    Simple question!

    IMO he would have been....... in 2004 he was outstanding for England and has been consistently for Spurs despite his injury troubles.

    Great on his day.

    He should have a few more england caps as well. Remember watching harry redknapp getting choked up about him in an interview when asked about his injury.

    He's already the best defender in England, and by a long way imo. Could have potentially been recognized as one of the very best in Europe had he more luck with injuries. It's a shame.

    No. If he didn't have the injuries he would have got more England caps maybe even moved to one of the big clubs but never the best in the world.
