Doesn’t matter I don’t think the other guys have the skills besides Tyson Fury and Ortiz there is no one I think has a good shot of beating Wilder. Miller, Breazeale, Whyte, Pulev I think Wilder stops all of them.

But if Wilder takes 40% it would have to be far bigger still to give AJ a comparable increase in earnings?

So AJ earns £30 mil and Wilder could take home what. £20 mil? No chance.

No fight screened on PPV in the afternoon in the US is the biggest money fight in boxing.

Your completely correct AJ can keep making big paydays without the wilder risk and I think that’s what he plans to do. However if Wilder is still standing with a belt, he will be forced or will have to gamble and take that fight eventually.

Let’s say the fight is expect to gross £70 million that would give AJ £42 mil if he takes 60%. That’s double anything he has made so far.

No because from that £70 mil you are missing that everybody else needs to get paid as well as its not the revenue which matters but the net profit. That's the pot which people get paid from.

What maths are you doing? Parker and AJ was reported to have done about 40 mil in the UK. I think Aj vs Wilder can do 60-70 mil minimum. That would give AJ £36-42 mil and Wilder £24-28mil respectively.

Obviously they do, however that comes out of their purses. You understand the difference between gross and net payment? When purses are reported they are the money that the fighters get before they have to pay everyone not what they actually take home.

Has everyone been as hard on Wilder in the past to try and unify as they apear to be now on Joshua? I dont remember many threads explaining how Wilder needs to take risks and go for the other belts

I thought the usual method was to pay all the costs before you look at what's left to divide it up? Wilder and AJ don't pay the stadium staff etc out of their purses, they're calculated once the costs are settled surely? Aside from any pre fight guarantees of course?

Do you understand when they say AJ is gunna make £24 mil they don’t mean he is gunna take all of that home. He still has to pay his manager, promoter, coach, agents, sparring partners etc .

Yeah they don’t pay the stadium costs out of their purses. However they do have to do pay sparring partners, coach, manager, promoter, taxes etc.
