If Hearn puts Callum Smith Vs Bivol in the USA we need to boycott it as fans

Yep Hearn is turning the tide in America everyone seems to love him more and more these days. Its also clear that the US is where the money is at and so from a business point of view can't really blame matchroom. What we need is one of the learning fighters (Josh Kelly, Buatsi) to really step up earlier than expected and force Hearn to look our way.

 

Yep you're right. It's disappointing.. but inevitable with the money at stake.

 

Good old British title fights are what is needed, even fights contested by two equal fighters.

Not the usual BS of mismatched overhyped PPV crap that fans are fed.

 

Unfortunately the fighters and promoters don’t want that.

Buatsi was mandated to fight Johnson, Johnson vacated.

Yards was due to be mandated for the British against Buatsi but pulled out (according to Hearn), he also had an eliminator against Burton he refused because Buglioni had already beat him.

Dubois and Gorman were meant to have an eliminator for Fury and both withdrew.

Joyce vs Hughie Fury was mandated and that didn’t happen.

Skeete vacated the British so Garton could take on Corcoran.

And so on.

 

I am Canadian myself but it is a shame how hearn is turning his back on Uk fans considering there the ones who built him.. but don't worry when dazn fails in few years he go crawling back I am sure.

 

Bivol should definitely be at 168. He said as much himself in his post fight interview last night. He said he was able to have a breakfast on the morning of his weigh in making 175 and is the smaller man in a lot of his fights. Thing is though, if he moves down and fights Callum Smith, he'll be the smaller man in that fight too. I like Bivol vs Callum Smith. Great fight to make.
