IMO it would affect Helenius career far more than Wilder career. Helenius could retire, and he could get stronger fights: Fury, Usyk, Joshua, victorious Parker Vs Joyce... And that would be the best victory in Helenius' career. Helenius would definitely get a "springboard". Wilder has two defeats, and has not won since 2019. For him, defeat would mean the end, but the end without dignity (after the loss to Fury, one could retire with dignity). It would darken his career even more, someone who had a 43 fight undefeated streak would have 3 losses, it would create even more Wilder haters, it would be a disaster for Wilder. If Wilder, who is younger than Helenius, loses in any way, then it really is time for him to retire, and he will further tarnish the image of his 10 defenses of the WBC belt, and it will be justified. But Helenius is unlikely to win.
TBH it won’t reflect much It could in fact be all that’s left of Wilder is a husk of a shelled out man that Fury left behind after 2 proper beatings.
Not much. The majority never really rated Wilder that highly anyway. A loss now at best would indicate that he’s shot, or more cynically, that’s he just returned to form. Wilder in his prime was getting rocked to his boots by guys like Eric Molina. A heavy puncher like Helenius has a decent of winning if he manages to land a clean right hand.
There was a poll on the Power Station channel's community page about who will win the fight and in what way. The video has English subtitles available. This content is protected
If Helenius beats Wilder ... Fury will finally have an opponent to face before the Usyk fight. So I don't think it affects Fury much. Unless Helenius beats him, too.
Ain't happening. Wilder is looking better than ever. Wilder made career of beating guys like Helenius.
Goes from being on par with being Furys third best opponent he has beaten with Chisora (behind Wlad and Whyte) to being Furys 4th best opponent behind chisora.
