    Whyte is second behind Wlad.

Won't mean much, just certifies what many already suspect, that he's finished.

I can't see old man Helenius beating Wilder. On the other hand if he somehow did Fury's resume looks much worse and Helenius instantly becomes one of those "what if" cases

If it happens it means Fury beat an aging Wilder into decline. It wouldn't detract from Fury's resume at all.

It won't affect Fury's resume, it'll only prove that Wilder got glory and a title with a serious cherry picking. And if Helenius can escape or withstand the Wilder's cross he'll most probably win.

    This----.

Helenius stock will go up with casuals though and may get a big fight and get Knocked out badly

It destroys Fury's stock. Then all Fury has is two shot old men and two Brit gatekeepers on his resume.

even at 40, he'd be a top five opponent of Fury and Wilder.

Even after getting knocked unconscious by a 41 year old in his next to last fight?

You mean the guy that was one of the top fighters in the divison, has a better record than Wilder and whom Wilder actively ducked for years? Yes Povetkin, that's the guy.

Povetkin was old, yes, but no need for hyperbole. He was 38 when he knocked out Whyte, not 41.

No he wasn't, you better check again. He was a couple weeks short of 41.

He was 38 when fought AJ in 2018.
He was almost 42 when fought Whyte in the rematch, and was shot to s*** due to losing ton of mass due to COVID and was hospitalized twice.
The weight he gained back was everything but functional. And he doesn't have time to do it.

Whyte is totally shot. Povetkin shattered his chin. Doubt he'll ever have another significant win.
