If his name was Christoff Algieri-kovski would he still be underrated?! Uhh?

Chris Algieri should be given a better light than what fans give him.
He has proven his chin and heart against Provodnikov, Pacquiao and ****ed up Amir Khan's fake ass.

He is a true to life New Yorker and an American warrior. Many poster love to bring up the color issue well Chris has a deep background in European ancestry.:hey
Yet he gets no love or props and not even a lying chance against Spence eh?

1.He boxes just as well as Lomachenko and has faced far superior competition to prove it.

2.He has the chin of Golovkin went down against Ruslan and beat him with one eye like a Cyclops warrior.

3.He went down 6 times against Pacquiao ,a man that many believed hurt Mayweather with 1 arm, and finished the fight on his feet practically unscathed.

    4. He threw a wrench into famous British con artist Amir Khan's money grab at Floyd by making him look like **** after a great performance against Alexander. Chris was buckling his legs with overhand rights. Do you think Amir could stay up against a Mayweather pull counter if Algieri was turning his legs into noodles?:-(

Chris Algieri has my full support against Spence. With John David Jackson (The Black Mickey) he just might surprise us all.

I love Chris, I predicted on here (one of very few) that he'd beat Provodnikov. And I said he'd beat Khan, well he came pretty damn close, the match should have ben a draw. I hope he shocks everybody and beats Spence as well. :toneyWar Algieri:toney

He's Italian by way of Argentina, I love Argentine fighters, you can knock them down but they get up and keep coming just like Maravilla.

:good I have my fingers and toes crossed. :D

For the record IB, Moparfan, Rummy and I are about the only ones on here that scored Khan/Algieri correctly.... a draw. Although officially on the RBR I had Algieri by a round, but I was trolling...slightly.:yep

His biggest weakness is his punching power. He's got skills though.

I don't underrated him. I give him a good chance to beat Khan. I also thought the Provodnikov fight was going to be a lot harder for Provodnikov than people were saying.

Yes, Algieri is underrated when people think Spence can stop him.

Going to ignore the first point but I think Chris gets the right amount of praise. He's a good boxer technically, has a great chin but lacks hurting power. He's a big guy at the weight and he uses his range well.

His fights with Provo and Khan were both close but both correct decision I feel; I'd consider both of them good fighters worth watching. No shame in getting battered by Pac to be honest, it's happened to a lot of guys.

You can't be mentally stable and compare Algieri with Lomachenko. Lomachenko is successfully doing what extremely few(if any) have done in the history of the sport.
