I already have him around 45-50 so I'll put him higher than that, Joe would be his best win by far

You seriously think a win over Calzaghe would be bigger than his win against an unbeaten, top of the game Trinidad ? come on

it would. But the difference is even if Hopkins wins against Joe C., he will never beat him the way he beat Trinidad. So maybe in that sense it would be a bigger win.

If Hopkins beats Calzaghe he enters top 20-40

You guys have to remeber that when he beat Trinidad, not only was he unbeating, he was also top P4P along with Roy Jones, and he was being compared to Sugar Ray Leanord and Robsinon, and he really schooled Trinidad (wish was my favorite fighter) so to say that a win over Calzaghe would be bigger... its kind of hard to agree with that.

Yes it would be, especially considering his age as well. He was younger when he fought trinidad and trinidad was moving up in weight, someone who was originally at 147. Calzaghe is much bigger than Trinidad, is undefeated and the 168 undisputed champ.

No son, Hopkins' legacy was built on 20 middleweight defenses and a brutal win over Tito (it wasnt his natural weight, agreed, but don't forget he was the favorite). He beat DLH (I bet you had him winning too, tell the truth) and Winky who hadn't lost in 6 or 7 years. Decisions to Taylor were pure BS, especially the first fight.

Better question if Calzaghe wins, how does that stock up against Floyds win?.
Has to be at least equal as he will be fighting in his backyard and going up in weight against a higher rated fighter
