It wont effect his ranking at all. Just like when he loses it won't matter either.

The first Jones fight was a legitimate loss for Bernard thats true but it was Jonesjr that continually ducked a rematch making every excuse imaginable. He knew Bernard was still green & was improving fast & knew if he fought him again Bernard may very well win. Bernard had to wait till Jones was hurting for $$$$$$ to get his revenge so it evens the score.

Tell me how Calzaghe won that fight?? He barely threw 30 LEGITIMATE punches all fight. He was put on his ass too. Threw a blatent low blow & wasnt even warned. Damn he even tried to sexually assault Bernard in ring & STILL crooked Joe Cortez did nothing.
I was ringside for the fight I afterwards 80% of ringside press had Hopkins winning clearly. Hopkins wa robbed twice against Taylor too.
You need to watch his fights again I think

You say Hopkins lost so he shouldnt be getting big fight But everyybody & his dog have kicked Mosely & Cotto's asses yet they keep getting fights even though Mosely was a proven juicer . Hopkins & Cloud are ranked #2 & #3 yet you call it cherry picking ????

well at this point I don't think Mosley should have been given the Malignaggi fight, so I was happy when that fell through, and Cotto should have to earn his big fight. Yes, Hopkins is handpicking Cloud. That is what Hopkins has done for the 10 years. I doubt Cotto is going to get a big fight after losing to Trout.

Big B-Hop fan, but Is he even a top 10 middleweight? I suppose if you weigh head-to-head ability heavily, but 20 title defenses needs to be put in context - Trinidad, De La Hoya, Johnson, Eastman, Joppy, Allen, Holmes, Vanderpool, Lipsey, etc. That's not too great. Lots of guys have stronger resumes at the weight. Had he retired after the Taylor defeats, I wouldn't even put him in the top 100 P4P all-time.
