If Hopkins beats Dawson... Were does he stand All-Time ?

I´d like Hopkins to have three fights and then retire, Calzaghe, Taylor and Jones. Wonder where he ranks if he beats all three.

Having said that, I think he should stay away from Dawson. He can´t beat him at this stage of his career.

 

Absolutely he can beat Dawson.Dawson didn't deserve the decesion against Glen Johnson in my opinion.

 

Hopkins does not fight like Johnson :bart

 

If he fights like he faught against Pavlik Dawson is in trouble. Granted Dawson is more mobile than Pavlik, but he is very hittable also, and likes to throw semi-wild punches in bunches- which would be inneffective against Hopkins. Hopkins ud, top 10 all time

 

Jones??? completely pointless fight.

 

Dawson is 10 times faster then Pavlik and he also knows how to us angles.

Comparing Dawson to Pavlik is like comparing George Foreman to Chris Byrd.

 

At the end of the day, Jones beat him easily

dont know where i'd rank him on the list but he wouldn't go up or down a place for beating dawson.

 

Why? Look at their first fight. Roy just entered his prime while Hopkins was at least for years away from his. Roy won clearly.
Look at now. Hopkins is quite past it, Roy even more. Comparable situation just upside down.

 

If Hopkins wins he'll get no credit for it since Jones is shot and if somehow Jones wins it will hurt Hopkins rep badly.

 

When did I compare Dawson to Pavlik, other than saying that DAWSON IS MORE MOBILE? I said if Bernard faught like he did against Pavlik Dawson, as would anyone, be in trouble
