If hopkins fights danny green like this.....

I see the butthurt RJJ fans have now found a way to lick their wounds by claiming Hopkins will own Green.

Bring it on I say, if 'nard has the 'nads to do it...why not come down to Australia and dominate Green in his own backyard? :hey

 

But Green is no longer a light heavy. I'm not saying he can't make that limit but it's been since 2007 since he has... Why would he take on somebody as prime and talented as Dawson at a lower weight than he's fought in a couple years?

Yeah Green really has made bundles of improvements over the years. I watched his comeback against a bum when he scored a mid round KO and he was the same Danny Green I've always seen. Stacks of heart, good punch, comes forward and throws punches. But..that..is...it. His talent is very finite.

He might catch Hopkins but power ain't ever been a huge factor in a Hopkins fight because even when he takes them he's moving his head to take away impact, and his chin is rock solid. Ain't ever happening in a million years to Danny ****ing Green and I'll put my money where my mouth is because its impossible.

 

Haven't seen the Hopkins fight yet...but totally different story to Roy. Roy just can't take a punch. It landed toawrds the back of the head but it wasn't even a real solid punch and it had Jones scrambling. Hopkins has much better defense and much better chin to boot.

 

haha these Green fans came out of the woodwork. Green is C grade, Jones has been knocked out before and obviously didn't take the fight seriously, Green said the same thing himself.

 

You make it sound like there is something wrong with being a come forward fighter. Greens style is simple and effective. Many fighters have gotten far with it. Not everybody is Roy Jones or Ray Leonard.

I think with his size and hard punching Green would have a chance at making it a very uncomfortable night for Hopkins. But I back Hopkins for sure. One thing im even more sure of, though, is that if Green did KO Hopkins, all you guys would be on here saying Hopkins is shot and not have a word of credit for Danny Green.

lol, id be fascinated to see your "grading scale" if Green is classed as C Grade. He is a world titlist, has two legitimate losses and a great KO %. So Green is C grade, what's an example of an "A grade", "B grade" and " D grade"?
