    Will he retire?

Or Will he do what I think he will do and fight Kelly Pavlik just to beat the man that beat the man?

I honestly think he will do the unthinkable and go for one more, I really think he is that crazy and I honestly think he could outsneak Kelly.

I think Pavlik is a few years away from LHW and should reign supreme at middle and supermiddle ... but I can see a Jones v Hopkins rematch or a fight with the winner of Dawons v Tarver.

It would be hard for Hopkins to retire after a huge win over Calzaghe, because if he could get past him, he would probably feel as though he could beat anybody. I'd imagine he'd face Pavlik, Tarver again, or Jones. Probably Pavlik.

I really don't think a rematch with Roy has any kind of significance on his legacy. Its like these old veterans Hopkins and Toney...Their legacy is sealed shut, beating Roy will not do a damn thing. One thing is for sure, Hopkins has to hate that he dropped 2 close losses to Taylor, and Taylor got KTFO by Pavlik and then Beat again by decision.

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Hopkins has the temptation to fight Kelly Pavlik

RJJ has said that he has no interest in fighting Hopkins. He has said that they were in negotations a couple of times and he got the sense that Hopkins was never really serious. So i don't see it happening although it would be fun to watch.

I think perhaps JT at SMW or catchweight of 170. I think at this weight, Hopkins would win. That would be sweet vindication. But if he loses, ouch!

If he wins, yeah why not fight again. A loss would not hurt his legacy if he challenges the best, because he would undoubtedly be underdog again. Anything short of a humiliating stoppage (ie: Jones/Tarver 2 and Jones/Glen Jonhson) and he loses minimal respect (eg: the two fights with Taylor, which many thought Hopkins won, but even in defeat his rep was pretty much intact due to a good showing - he was still highly competitive).

I just can't see him retire, if he wins he'll definitely carry on till someone beats him convincingly then maybe he'll retire. IF he wins then it's Roy next for either one of them, pretty sure about it.

ughhh a rematch with Roy would be so boring. Doesn't do anything for Bhops legacy, He should call out Pavlik! Couldn't they meet at 168lbs?

Actually he should first write a big check to Teddy Atlas for picking Calzaghe to win.
