I swear to you all here and now I will revere this man, I will forever proclaim him a true great, a legend & that utterly underestimated him; the lot. Hand on my heart I will do do this. I will not leave like Kessler fans, I will not quit ESB I promise and I will apologise to each and every one of you I doubted should Hopkins win. I only ask in return that you do the same if you doubt whether Joe can manage the same feat. You cannot say fairer than that. Lastly if Hopkins wins you can all vote and pick whichever avatar for me you like for 1 month no strings attached, you don't have to bet with me - I will do this voluntarily. I won't whinge, cry or ***** - I am a man of my word.
The only shameful part is you need him to beat your fave to give him any credit. He should have that already. The kicker is, "If you already think it's an easy night for Joe (as MANY Calzaghe fans seem to think), then a win over Hops shouldn't be a big deal then right? This reminds me of the Mayweather fans here. So QUICK to destroy any opponnent before they fight, it really downplays the win. Can't have it both ways. But at least you're being honest. :thumbsup
not as fair as you make it out to be as Calzaghe is a big favorite in this fight mainly due to Hopkins' age.
It would be a wonderful win. Wonderful. Enhance his status in a very serious way. He'd be top 5 p4p again.
Guys i like Calzaghe i hate Hopkins(well just his style i guess, kinda boring for me). However I give him his props and Hopkins ruins a fighters gameplan. A Calzaghe win would prove he is an ATG. I think he is an excellent fighter and so is Hopkins but I just keep thinking Hopkins will beat JC. He is such a crafty *******.
