    Kovalev is a nobody.

Hopkins already ranks above Floyd. The only reason he isn't listed in the top 5 P4P is he is 50 years old.

    I think he might.

The things he has done, the records he has broken, and now at his age against the boogieman of the division.
undisputed MW champ, and the MW # defences record. Might become undisputed LHW champ at age 50, while in comparison Floyd has never been and will never be undisputed because then he has to fight a couple of guys he wants to avoid.

the longlivity, combined with really historic records and might become undisputed in 2 of the original weightclasses... that probably trumps everything Floyd has done.

That said, I don't think he's going to win. If you just go with the numbers here Kovalev should win it pretty easily.
But then again, it has been proven many times that 1+1 isn't always 2 in boxing.

hopkins is in his own lane making history. floyd will not accomplish what hopkins did and vice verca. hopkins been top 10 and 5 p4p for a while now for me and he's atg like floyd. as far as ranking him higher then floyd, thats a matter of opinion. if you were a fighter which career and accomplishments would you rather have floyd or bernard and thats your answer.

Hopkins is going to choke. It's like everybody forgets how he looks for a way out when the going gets tough. Look for a Hopkins-Dawson 1 sort of event.

I rate Hop ahead of Floyd "scared to fight Pac" Mayweather already.

Hopkins is miles ahead of Mayweather, but Floyd is young and has plenty of time left to close the gap.

It's an odd one as the stuff that has really impressed me from Nard has all occurred in his twilight years above 160.

1 - he is going to lose

2 - no. who has kovalev beaten? literally campillo might be his best win. ****ing campillo? Pascal is a better win for hopkins than kovalev is

3 - floyd's been boxing just as long as hopkins has, and is more accomplished, just because he isn't as old, people will be biased for Hopkins (i love hopkins by the way) but no.
