Joe in now way shape or form can win easy. Bhop has a tight defense and throws all of his punches straight down the middle underneath the guard with the right hand. He will crack slap happy calzaghe. I predict a big upset. Calzaghe aint fighting a robot like he was with kessler.

Calzaghes work-rate has always off-set his poor technique....he's got away with it up to now because he's only fought other fighters with poor technique, now he's facing a guy who has 10x the skills that Joe does. The only question-mark on this fight is down to Hopkins age, Joe has left this fight so long deliberately for a reason.

Anyone that thinks Bernard will be embarrassed is an idiot, though. Hopkins may lose, but embarrassed? Not going to happen. It's not like Calzaghe even hits hard

I would rank him number two in the current pfp rankings, and he would crack the top twenty in the best pfp ever list.

You can't expect haters to give respect . . . that's why they are branded as haters.

No matter what . . . they'll find something negative to say.

Hopkins has a lot of pride.....he took the fight because he wants the
money and he thinks he can win.

I don't believe he thinks he is going to lose. He has beaten
    numerous southpaws before.

Joe better be ready for a Hopkins that is going to pull out
    all stops.....legal & quasi-legal (hit-hold-butt).

If Hopkins wins in undisputed fashion, I will say that he's amazing to be able to pull that off @ 40+

I wouldn't worry about what happens if B-Hop wins.. It's not going to happen. Calzaghe will beat him solidly.

Calzaghe is one of the best fighters alive, in any division. He's 44-0 and is riding on some of the best wins and performances of his career. If Hopkins, at 43, defeats him, on top of all the other accomplishments he's strung together over these many years, I will consider putting him up there near the absolute elite class of all-time greats. If he wins decisively and blows everyone away, I'll make him a lock for that echelon of the historic pantheon.

Eh? Of course they will. He's possibly the most respected fighter in boxing today. He's been in p4p lists for years, everyone agrees that he's a legend.

The fact that he's so full of himself he's in danger of imploding doesn't help, but he's one of very few modern boxers guaranteed to be considered an all-time great no matter what happens.

I make Joe a slight favourite to win a points decision, purely on volume of punches, but until he's a frail senile old man, I'll never write off b-hop's chances against anyone.

Whoever wins should get credit for beating the other.

I am a huge Calzaghe fan and if Hopkins wins, he gets mad respect from me. I would give him respect for making it a close fight as well, as I gave respect to Kessler for the same reason.
