If Hrgovic convincingly beats Dubois and knocks him out, will his chances against Joshua increase?

I expect him to beat Dubois, so no it doesn't increase his chances

Clearly AJ is still a cash cow. But he is only the 3rd best HW out there now.

I would think that Hrgovic would be looking instead at the winner of Fury vs Usyk.

The Usyk fight is more likely for him next. He beats Dubois handily in my view

Hair transplant Hearn only has AJ left as a cash cow so I doubt he risks him against someone like Hrgovic. The AJ brand wouldn’t be able to withstand another loss.

I don't think Dubois is a good test to show how he'll deal with Joshua. Joshua is a level of two above Dubois in my opinion. Hrgovic could KO Dubois in the first round and it wouldn't really change my assessment of the how Joshua/Hrgovic would play out. Lerena almost did that by having Dubois down 3 times in the first round, I wouldn't give Lerena a better chance of beating Joshua based on that result either.

There's simply levels to the game and Dubois isn't a good measurement of how Hrgovic deals with Joshua or any fighter at that higher level.

His chances against Joshua are zero because there's no way in hell he would ever get that fight. Look at the history. When has Joshua EVER fought a dangerous top 10 guy who isn't 40?

If he doesn't dominate and stop Dubois he has little chance against top fighters.

Yeah, true. He did lose most of those fights though.

Not a ton of names for such a lengthy career in the top 10 with the biggest promoter and most money is it.

Name another Heavyweight who has fought as many notable Heavyweights or ranked top 10 Heavyweights as Joshua I'll wait for the answer.....

I know you don't like Joshua which is fine I'm not a fan of his either but he has the best resume at Heavyweight in regards to who hes fought.

Name a time Joshua has taken on a dangerous guy like Hrgo when he doesn't even have a belt.

Joshua doesn't have the best HW resume. He has the most names, sure. I don't care about names. Age matters.

How dangerous is Hrgovic though ? He hasn't really impressed in any of his fights. He looked very beatable vs Zhang and showed immense flaws in that fight.

You're now changing the goalpost from "who has Joshua fought who was dangerous under 40" to now saying "who has Joshua fought who was dangerous who didn't have a belt" that literally makes no sense.......

So you're saying it's less impressive that Joshua fought a belt holder who was deemed as a threat like Parker, to not fighting a dangerous opponent without a belt ? I'm not understand the logic here.....it seems like you're all over the place because you hate Joshua and can't rationally debate about him.

So you admit Joshua has the best overall names on his resume in regards to who hes fought so what are you even debating then I'm confused ?

Again what Heavyweight has fought as many notable names as Joshua ? Theres your answer end of debate.

ajs resume is so overrated context matters, Charles Martin beat no one, Takam was past it and beat no one, Breazale beat no one, Wallin beat no one who was ranked, Franklin beat no one, Pulev was old as crap lost to Chisora afterwards. And currently it just doesn't count for as much as people think since he has 3 losses and isn't champion anymore

Ajs best wins - Klitschko (good win but he was way past it, inactive, beltless)

Povetkin (well past it but still a decent win)

    Parker (aging better)

Whyte (Whyte was green, and he got hurt bad)

Ruiz - ( KO'd aj lmao so that doesn't count for too much, beat a 50 year old Ortiz, didn't even do as good as Wilder, was 20 pounds overweight in the rematch which is a huge asterisk) okay win

I hope to god no fanboys mention Ngannou

Should Dubois KO Hrgovic it will obviously be a shot in the arm for his confidence.

You can pick apart anyones resume though depending on your agenda of a certain fighter.

Parker was undefeated and a champion when Joshua beat him.

Wladimir hadn't been stopped in 13 years and looked in better form than he did in his non effort vs Fury.

Joshua was also green vs Whyte and had less fights than Whyte ? so I'm not really understanding the point here ?

No one is saying Joshua has a great resume but compared to this era it's a fairly solid one as I said who else as fought as many notable names as Joshua has ?

Yeah Joshua has a few losses on his record but so would the likes of Fury and Wilder if they kept fighting notable names. Fury frigging arguably lost to an MMA fighter....you think with this erratic form he would go undefeated vs the likes of Usyk, Parker, etc.
