If Hrgovic convincingly beats Dubois and knocks him out, will his chances against Joshua increase?

He has 5 notable wins currently yes, the losses counterbalance and most weren't at their best, not even close. Even if he has the best resume it cant be by much at all and he isn't #1 or #2 in the division. Got his belts snatched by Usyk and he couldn't get em back, so how much does it really matter

Yes I agree that was a terrible performance from Fury

Yeh, I give much respect to fighters who actually take high level fights even if they lose. Getting caught by Ruiz happens, just like it happened to Lewis a couple of times. No real shame losing to a highly motivated Usyk. I'm even gaining a bit of respect for Wilder who late in his career is taking some risks. I'm liking Joshua because I feel like he is interested in taking on top 5, as if he has something to prove and he's actually going to try and prove it. I also like Joshua because he seems to make fights with minimal fuss and negotiations dramas.

Yes but on flipside Joshua has took more risks than Wilder and Fury.

I mean what's Wilders top 5 notable wins ? Ortiz, Stirverne, Breazele, Molina, Arreola. Compare that to Joshua's resume.

No one has a standout resume in this era but Joshua has more filler to his resume than anyother current Heavyweight by quite some distance.

All this will hopefully be a moot point in the next 2 years or so when Fury and Usyk finally fight, and hopefully we get a few more filler fights with the likes of Joshua, Parker, Wilder, so we can have a clear standout Heavyweight from this era.

He needs to look impressive imo. Dubois is a decent fighter but you have to stop a guy like him to be a contender, and despite all the hype Hrgovic is pretty unproven.

I don't think it changes much we have no clue how Fury performs against the guys that beat aj. Will find out part of it in a month if Fury doesn't pull out. aj still lost 3 times, and Furys win over Klitschko is superior by some margin. I genuinely wish Klitschko were prime so he could've folded aj in 4, Vitali telling him not to finish aj cost him the fight

Hrgovic will beat Dubois with ease, but AJ will KO hrgovic

I think this is a good fight for hrgovic to see where he's at as he's looked so one paced despite the stories and amateur pedigree.

Dubois hits very hard and has a bit of will.

They need to get his dad in the corner again to shout encouragement when he looks like he's gonna call it in.

Usyk, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz and Pulev were all under 40, dangerous HWs and top 10 fighters.

Fury fans prior to the Wallin and Ngannou fights stated that they were dangerous fights prior to fighting AJ (just because in reality Fury should of lost those fights). However they turned out to very easy work for AJ.

You can always put asterisks next to resumés saying this guy was past it or whatever, but AJ's resumé is the best of any heavyweight of his generation. In fact, since the turn of the millennium, his HW resumé is arguably 3rd behind Lewis and Wlad.
