I saw Jace listed at 6-4. But then you could cast Jason Momoa as Tommy Burns to make up the difference.

    Definitely Luis Ortiz....

Imagine the beginning, dinosaurs walking round....

Then moves on to the start of the human race.....Luis hasn't changed.

He helps build the pyramids with his strength....

Ancient Greece - Luis boxes Hercules for the Mount Olympia title

Roman's - Fights and ko's 3 tigers in the Coliseum

Helps the Vikings raid other countries

Sails across the Atlantic to the USA and colonises the whole place.

    Modern day...still hasn't aged

That is my thought, and perhaps the film that the world needs!

I don't think Johnson was a saint but I certainly think he was far more intelligent and his story far more complex than any book, doc or film has portrayed it .. Johnson was the child of slaves (comprehend that ?) and lived and fought in a far more primitive America ... it is astonishing he was never killed .. there is a ton more to his life than an arrogant guy that snubbed his nose too often , lied when defeated and became a jealous side show character .. can only begin to imagine what hatred he lived thru ..

I would would make him neither hero nor villain, but show him in all of his complexity.

I would make the audience identify with him strongly before he won the title, and like him progressively less after he won it, but then turn that around somewhat with his conviction.

Breaking Bad was powerful because you feel so sorry for the protagonist, then watch him slowly turn into a monster.

I would try to make you feel sorry for Johnson, and then turn him into the man cynically blocking Sam Langford's dreams.

When his world finally comes crashing down, it would be like a Greek tragedy.

All makes sense and there are a lot of why's ...

This clip of Ali on Johnson to me was always a humorous take on the very tip of the ice cube ..

Kid McCoy would be a very, very interesting drama.

Salvador Sanchez would be an epic heroic tragedy. I can see the long Tarvosky style scenes just after the win over Nelson, driving just before the crash. Minimal sound design. The calm, almost eery, quiet satisfaction contrasting with the previous fiery passion of his actions and heart. Then the tragic end...

It would be, atleast in my mind's imagination, a hauntingly beautiful scene.

    Enjoy your drinks.

I think the Harry Greb story would contain about every human emotion and would be a very bittersweet but probably need 3 hrs
