If I learn to fight like old school boxers can I break the age gap?

I've been watching a lot of jack johnson and sam langford,Dempsey fights and watching them in slow motion. Can a good defensive clinch plus horse like stamina be a short cut to the top? If klitchko and Fury use the same gameplan it seems to be very effective for beating natural brutes and speed punchers. I'm 6'3 with an 81 reach and 28 years old(started when I was 23.) I only have a good long straight punch with a stiff jab and strong chin(I have a giant ****ing head)never been ko or shook by bigger guys.

What are my chances in any success as a boxer?

PS I don't want to have more than 20 fights.

in my experience, short cuts aren't a solid Plan A.

most of the athletes out there (fighters included) who make it look easy, make it look easy because they invested time, energy and sacrificed more than what the average person is willing to.

If you have enough experience and training (at least sparred with pro's) then there is no reason why you couldn't get to the top. If you are a big puncher then that will be even better. Start fighting as often as you can.

No offense, but with 5 yrs experience...what are you doing asking internet warriors what you should do?
5 years seems like plenty of time to test your theory.
