A prime DLH would be a nightmare for Floyd Joy at any weight and by far his best opponent.

I know Floyd dominated Corely, but the footage is there. I've seen Floyd stopped in his tracks, staggered, but what Corely did to Shane was beyond that. He had Floyd in pure survival mode, even if it was for a few seconds.

When was 154 pbfs best weight class. He fought oscar with a stacked deck and beat him he would have always beat him because nothing suggest otherwise. Oscar lost most of his big fights for a reason remember that.

 

I never said 154 was Floyd's best weight but when was Oscar anywhere near his best when Floyd faced him?

DLH was 34, had fought twice in 3 years and only once in 12 months prior to Floyd edging him out.

So all the things Floyd had to overcome like the gloves, new weight class that he couldn't make, ring size....ect don't even the odds of Oscar being 34? Was him being 34 so unfair that he needed even more incentives to even out the fight? Should Floyd have not used his straight right hand to even it out? lol He was too old though...smh
