I asked did Oscar getting everything he wanted in the fight balance out his age.. The only fact that could be 'tarnished' is him getting everything he wanted which was a fact.. He was the A side and chose everything and Floyd had to deal with it...

It's not necessarily the age itself, it's also the sheer lack of activity prior to the fight.

 

That video of pbf was a direct result of pac not willing to take random blood test that would be given to both fighters to ensure a clean fight. I wouldn't blame anyone for not fighting a guy who could be dirty. If you're clean test if you're not make excuses. Who you should be putting the blame on is pac he declined to face a prime pbf because he didn't want drug testing let that sink in. The same type of testing he did for the first time to face rios he wouldn't do to face the best and a career high payday. Think about that it's very telling. This type of testing is standard today.

Freddy roach also said pbf was the best fighter of the era and it makes sense undefeated and beat pac h2h. He knows how great pbf was and how he was an absolute stylistic nightmare.

I actually think it was a pretty good deal.. You got to fight a smaller guy in a weight class that he couldn't even make and he got to pick the gloves and everything..
