If I was Eddie Hearn, my next move to Joshua would be Pulev

I have already posted my thoughts on Saturday night's fight so I won't go into it again. Bottom line, I think after a period of reflection, Wlad retires with all his millions and Hall of Fame career. The torch was passed.

Now, Joshua must defend the IBF title against his mandatory Pulev or he could be stripped of that title - just as Tyson Fury was after defeating Wlad in 2015.

This would still be a good, solid test for Joshua. I think he would get the KO but Pulev would pose some problems and is the sort of fighter you would be expecting him to face 20 fights into his pro career. Let's say this fight happens around November.

At the same time, Hearn should make Wilder vs Bellew for the WBC title in Liverpool - which I confidently predict would end in a KO win for Wilder. The build-up and hype from these two trash talkers would be great and would allow Wilder to become better well-known to UK fans. Let's say this happends around October.

This sets up a big unification around April next year between AJ and Wilder - possibly in a big venue such as Wembley Stadium, Cardiff's Millenium Stadium or somewhere like New York or Vegas. Thoughts?

Pulev yeah.. This arrogant fool should be knocked out for picking bums like Samuel Peter or Kevin Johson. Are those guys even bums?

I keep telling people this but it's like no one listens.

Pulev DECLINED 3 career-high offers to fight Joshua in December, there are Eddie Hearn video interviews where he explains all about it.

Pulev will only be getting 25% as mandatory challenger now which will be significantly less than what Hearn would have offered him for December so you really think that Pulev is going to take a fight now that he already recently declined for far less money?

I fully expect Pulev to give up his IBF ranking as mandatory challenger, and go back to fighting the Peter's and Johnson's of the world.

I said a while back that Pulev would have prepared Joshua for Wlad, since Pulev is a mini-Wlad.

It's a shame if he does. If Pulev does take the fight (it would more than likely be back in the O2 Arena) it would rake in £20m after everything is counted. That's still about £5m he could potentially earn. A nice chunk of change and better than the 750,000 he earns for fighting likes of Johnson etc.

Outside of the title holders the division is pretty weak pickings. Maybe go after Hughie Fury to set up a massive showdown with Tyson?

Something tells me Hearn would opt against making it ppv. If he does, then expect that £20m you quoted to be much, much lower!

20,000 sell-out. All his fights will be on Sky Box Office PPV from now on. International TV rights. Sponsorships. Merchandise. All adds up. Joshua is money, there can be no denying it.

Totally agree with him being money!

But even Hearn needs to recognise that he can't flog TF out of AJ at every turn cos though the UK fanbase is incredibly loyal, we're incredibly flippant, I find. There's already been rumblings and murmurs with regards to their strange partnership with Stubhub...

Though this could be attributed to Hearn having to meet targets set and agreed with by Matchroom and SkySports

I've said it many times on here: Pulev is the most overrated contender of the last 10 years minimum. A post prime Wlad that struggled with Jennings not to long after battered him from pillar to post and we'll see an equally destructive performance from Joshua is Pulev steps up.

The Bulgarian likely gets waxed if he fights Wilder or Parker too and he knows it.

I heard Hearn's did not offer him anything as good as 25%. So Pulev waited to get the mandatory fight, so he could get his fair share of 25%.

You under estimate the hunger and willingness of UK fans to pay out, every fight Joshua has will be PPV now. Hell every fight since Whyte has been PPV. Why on earth wouldn't it be PPV? It's pretty much the market model in the UK once you reach AJ's level of popularity that every fight will be PPV now.

Agreed he's nothing special at all, not fast, doesn't hit hard, easy to hit, a real plodder, no head movement, he's just awkward, has a good jab, and knows how to clinch like his life depended on it.

Yes. And I expect the prices to progressively increase by bits irrespective of the opponent.
