If I was Haye I'd push for 70% against Wlad.

Boxing wise he earns the right to call whoever he wants out by being the Undisputed CruiserWeight Champ and beating a title holder at Heavyweight.

Money wise he gets to earn the big money by being a product people are willing to pay millions to watch. If no one bought a Haye fight then sky could'nt sell it.People are willing to buy the product.

Did you read the figures I provided?

For 20,000 vs Harrison Haye earned €1.8 million.
For 50,000 vs Peter Wlad was paid €1 million.

UK ticket costs are higher plus I can only assume K2 dish out a lot of freebies.

I also quoted Ruiz and Valuev PPV figures.

Once again nowhere near according to my figures, did you even read the post?

There's a lot of nonsense talk like Vitali earned more than $25 million vs Sosnowski but the article I included show's Wlad is worth €20 million ($26 million) and Vitali €15 million ($19.5 million).

K2's worldwide deal pulls them in a total of €500k.

Why do I need to check figures from the last 5 fights? The Peter fight is typical of K2s set up today.

    Large 40,000+ stadium
    €3 million RTL deal
    €500k worldwide deal
€1.5 million from tickets and extras.

From what I can see Wlads biggest purse was $7.8 million (€6.13 million) and that was only because Bob Arum bid $12.1 million beating K2 and King. HBO was involved which automatically adds $$. K2 can't touch what Arum pays.

2010 Klitschko - Povetkin purse bid went for $8,313,000, (€6,390,000) with Klitschko getting 75% (€4.78 million) and remember K2 bid high because they didn't want any chance of Sauerland winning and taking the fight to Moscow. Sauerland bid €3.27 million.

If you have any evidence to show K2 earn more and back up your statement feel free to post it here.:good

Money doesn't only come through TV, sponsors and promotional deals, etc. To this day, the Klitschko name is more prevalent worldwide than Haye.

Bottom line, the most important to consider is the average drawing power on a long term basis, not just 1 very popular local fight.

What is this worldwide money though ?

There is nothing substantial to that blanket statement at all, unless you actually got something>?

I would think that 500k was coming from espn only.

I know it costs SKY about 200 000 UK pounds to buy one fight from HBO for example, and wouldnt that money simplty go to RTL anyway as they own the broadcast rights ?>

There's no money figure attached. I'm quite sure that outside of the UK and the US, Haye & Booth will acknowledge that the Klits can generate more in regards to promotional items & sponsorships, etc.

The most important numbers are still the PPV ones and Haye does have the advantage there since he's not restricted with a permanent deal.

As far as the gate goes, it's quite easy to see the Klitschkos have the edge and have proven it again and again.

Against ordinary opponents, the Klits will more often than not generate more than Haye can, therefore a 50-50 deal is the only possible alternative considering all factors involved.

Haye Ruiz had 18,000 in attendance, and did 400k-600k ppvs. That's still more than what K2 earn.

Haye - Valuev pulled in 800k ppvs (that alone is €4.8 million). We can't compare gate, merchandising etc because it was promoted by Sauerland, not Haymaker.

18 000 is great but it's not 50 000 paid seats. Haye does very well with PPV but he doesn't consistently make more money for himself than Klitschkos do when fighting ordinary competition outside of big local fights such as Harrison, that's all I'm saying.

Sry but how does a Klit sponsorship deal add money to Hayes bank acc.Is he going to give Haye 50% of any golfing advertising he gets paid for?

I know for 1000% fact that Haye is afraid of the beating Wladimir will administer on him and thus is defrauding the public with his excuses to duck boxing a Klitschko. He is a skilled liar and dupe, you have either fallen prey to his machinations because you are in imbecile, or you are part of the scam of team hayefaker. :yep

That's not the point.... For big fights, promotional & marketing deals concerning THE FIGHT itself, therefore the money is split according to the agreement between the parties (boxers).

Deals such as what Tecate does now in the US for GBP fights....
