If I was Haye I'd push for 70% against Wlad.

So this actually says; "Britsh people aren't too bright, and can be persuaded to pay big money for bogus fights."
Now the cat's out of the bag, and a big chunk of the British public openly shouted "they will never watch a HW fight again", Haye should ask 70% of the purse, to be certain this fight will never, ever happen and his fans can still shout that he would have beaten both brothers in round 1 on the same night...

Think this about sums it up!

Perhaps you should read what you quoted. That says its already surpassed the 400,000 for VALEUV...which would be half the accepted estimate. Now that is interesting in of itself but I still would like to know where this 400,000 figure for the Ruiz fight is coming from. The fact that no paper reported a figure in the immediate aftermath and that Sky force Haye to fight Harrison makes me suspect it bombed.

I don't know if you refuse to read or maybe you're barely literate, but he covered both Ruiz and Valuev where Haye managed to do great numbers. Man, how does Wlad taste? That's nasty.

It's all about marketing, marketing which Haye brainstorms.

Harrison couldn't draw flies to **** who are you trying to kid? The guy fought in prizefighter for 30k!!

You don't live in the UK do you? You don't see the amount of promotional work Haye does, he's on TV constantly, gameshows, news, football grounds etc, the guy knows how to sell himself, he also knows how to sell his opponent. It's an insult to suggest 20-30 or even 40% were buying that PPV for Harrison.
Ask any Britsh guy here, even Haye haters they'll tell you the guy is on TV constantly marketing himself.

What about the 800k against Valuev? Lots of Russians in the UK pay for that yeah? Or how about the 400k vs Ruiz? Only K2 could sell 400k against Ruiz, no one else on this planet, but they don't have that option do they?

Haye sells himself and the fight brilliantly. Look at how he got noticed calling out the Klitschkos, the guy knows how to market himself.

Harrison vs anyother HW on the planet wouldn't do 200k in the UK, I doubt it would do 50k.

Quote to me the part of the article that says Ruiz did over 400,000. The only number I can see referenced is this:

    Bull****.

If Harrison wasn't a draw then Haye wouldn't have fought him. Both Prizefight and Sprott II did the treble the average Sky boxing audience. Harrison was a big part of making that event a commrcial success - he's a **** fighter but he can talk and is legitmately well known in the UK.

And again...someone give me a link to a source for this 400,000 figure for the Ruiz fight. Because I have still to see one article with that number.

    OK.
But part of the concusion stays the same... Haye made a lot of money with totally bogus fights, now the public knows and want to see him fight a real opponent.
They won't accept him to fight an old, pushed up the ranks by the WBA nobody or hasbeen anymore. So the ticketsells have to do with his opponent and not only Haye anymore.

Let see a 60,000 seat stadium sold out alone is about 3 million (50 dollar tickets average), now your (BoxingFanNo1) going about 3 million in germany tv money, then you got sponsers, maybe another 1 million, then you got eastern european money for tv rights, got to say that about 3 million aleast. that is about 9 million.....now giving let say the lates victim of the brothers contracts solis:yep he is getting 1.8, now take away that from 9 an you have 7.2:yep , Not a bad days pay

I also read that vitali brings in 25 million a fight cause of eastern euro tv rights, i do not know if that is true.

Lets take a step back to reality for a minute.

    1. You can't compare Haye to Lennox Lewis in any serious conversation. That's like comparing a steak to a grilled cheese sandwich.

    2. Wlad is the true champion. Haye is only getting this shot, which he didn't earn, because he's acted like a ***** for so long that everyone wants to see him get KO'ed.

    3. Haye needs this fight because he has nothing out there to retire on that is bigger.

    4. Wlad could give a **** about Haye because whomever picks up the belt after Haye retires will be eager to fight Wlad.

    5. Haye is lucky to be getting 50/50 and a title fight. He was gifted the WBA belt in a robbery and his HW resume sucks ball sacks.

    6. Wladhas the belts, so the fights will come to him and he will win them because he has true ability.

    Bottom line:

Wlad has worked his way up through the Heavyweight Division...TWICE!

Haye has talked his way into a payday.

If the fight doesn't happen, paydays will come for Wlad regardless.

Haye can't stick around long without fighting big fights...and as soon as he fights a big fight he loses his belt.

This is a lost cause. Klitschko and his fans are content with Chisora and have no interest in a competitive fight. Haye makes far more money, yet agreed to all of Wlad's concessions and Wlad still chose Chisora. No point in this thread.

Bottom line... Haye needs to do his talking in the ring.
