If I Were a Floyd Fan, I Would Be Massively Disappointed By His May 2 Performance (!)

Floyd did nothing, his only success in the fight was keeping manny at bay by running due to manny's height and reach, that's it! He avoided every exchange by clinching. Its one thing to clinch if your hurt but only a coward clinches to avoid having to exchange punches when they're not hurt. Running and landing soft jabs at times, but mostly they were picked off or completely missed. Neither man deserved to win that fight but Pac should have been given more credit for being the aggressor even if he wasn't effective most of the time, atleast he was trying to fight, and nobody can say Floyd was trying to fight. Any other boxer who did what FLoyd did that night would have driven the judges nuts and they would have automatically given the opponent the 10 over the guy AVOIDING a fight. But because its floyd and he's bringing all the money in, they gotta keep him winning.
The best thing that could have happened for boxing though would be giving him a L and forcing a rematch. I think it would have taken that for Floyd to smarten up and fight like a true champ.

Mayweather literally runs, hugs and potshots with low power. He rarely throws a power shot and only does it more often if his opponent is running out of stamina or if they're clearly lesser opponents who also are stylistically disadvantaged.

He has a boring Olympic style. This is where he has always had his advantages.
Two people who are better at 'point scoring' aka Lomachenko and Rigondeaux would beat Mayweather at his own game if they were the same size. Mayweather makes easy work of all of the welterweight opponents though (Amir would put in a good fight).

When people say stuff like this, is because they label Floyd as a runner so that's what they think he's doing.. I ask some questions like how many fights has he had excessive clinches or name the fights where he "ran".. Clearly it wasn't Oscar, Hatton, Marquez, Ortiz, Maidana I, Gurerro, Canelo, or Cotto, but he always does it.. He was a different fighter in his lighter younger days, so there's no point of going back that far...

All of this and you still pick him to lose every fight and have been doing so for years. PBF is the best fighter of this era and too bad for you that you'll never get a chance to see him humbled and take a L in the ring. It must really suck to be a PBF hater.:yep
