I think is was McGrain who recently made a thread where he asked, "How would you feel if Roy won?" I said I would masturbate to the highlight reel! However, Roy is shot. That's why Slappy Joe wants the fight. I'll still be rooting for Roy, but ......

People simply don't relize that. Roy is another unpredictable fighter with great counterpunching skills and even better speed and he looked far better the last time than in the days when he kissed the canvas.

I still favor Joe for obvious reasons, but this is my same argument from day one. It's not gonna be a blowout.

i dont understand how unsporting you americans are.if there is a good fighter ,{no matter what country he comes from} fighting i always respect him for what he is worth.you americans only hate joe calzaghe because he aint from the states,and your only going to get upset again when he beats rjj.give the guy a break he deserves it .

 

Despite hopes, I think it's probably going to be quite a dull fight.

I don't feel Roy has the ability to match Joe's workrate, and will be more concerned about not getting hit. Joe for his part will be happy to steadily pebbledash away with his shots and not push the pace.

Glad if I'm wrong, solid feeling I won't be though.

 

good prediction, i dont think calzaghes got enough power to get roys respect and roy will get more comfident and cocky as the fight goes along

 

This fight is Roy Jones' fan boy's worst nightmare. If he is KOed by Calzaghe even the biggest Roy nuthugger in the World will not be able to deny that he has a Glass Jaw.

if roy play the rope a dope game then its a wrap.jones has the speed and power but the reflexes are not as good and neither his is legs.prime for prime who owns joe.but he just aint the same, im sure he will have his rds were he looks and showboats but i see joe beating jones just like bhop losing to kelly.

in there last fights we will probally get to see bhop vs roy in there last fights.
