    If Inoue is Ring #1 in any division next year, he will tie the record with Archie Moore as having the most consecutive Ring #1s in terms of calendar years. Inoue is currently at 9 consecutive years as #1, having been #1 in either bantam, superfly or junior fly since 2013. Prior to that he was ranked in the top 10 at junior fly.

    Edit: Moore is second, Joe Louis is first. For some reason the WW2 years weren't counted. It's: Joe Louis 12, Moore 10, Inoue 9.

    There weren`t many good fighters in those divisions over those 9 years.
