If iron chin is a genetic thing..then why Wlad doesn't have one?

Wlad and Vitali share the same parents and Vitali has probably the GOAT chin after all, so I'd expect Wlad's chin to be at least above average, yet most people claim he's got a glass jaw waiting to be shattered

If Wlad really has a glass jaw, that should disprove the theory that mandibular fortitude is a genetic thing (Chavez Jr has an iron chin like his dad, Ronald Hearns has a glass jaw like his dad , etc)

Because the same genes are not always passed down.

Look at any given pair of brothers who are not twins. Are they similar? Yes, probably. Are they identical? No, definitely not. Having the same parents do not mean you inherit the exact same traits from them.

TS doesn't know about recessive traits.

so..... wlad stopped himself, nothing to do with purity?... and purity is a blackman. lets move on..

Brewster, again, a black man, stops wlad but wlad in your eyes stopped himself, nothing to do with brewster. and again, Brewster is a blackman. hmmm....

and finally.... white man stops wlad and that counts as a legit stoppage in your eyes.

    racist much?

    It is not completely genetic.

Part of it is mental. After the stoppages, as a poster above noted were partially due to stamina, Wladdy got panicked and hit the deck in a few fights when he didn't have to.

In-so-far as it is a physical trait, contrary to popular belief, "chin" can be trained just like anything else.

Ali, Foreman and Patterson improved their chin just by putting on weight.

Tommy Hearns prepared for his poor and declining chin in the second Leonard fight by weight training his legs. Strong pins is also why so many former kick-boxers (Dorsey, Warring, Vitali, Ustinov) have stong "chins."

Mercer got his iron chin by strapping the weights to his neck and doing neck pull-ups.

The muscles in the jaw are the mostly literal issue with a good "chin," and Jack Dempsey used to chew raw tree sap to strengthen them.

Only child? Not every genetic defect/attribute gets passed down.

It varies from person to person even from the same family. Plus Wlad's chin is not that bad, he was never KO'd cold like Lewis.
Sanders is a huge puncher and Wlad got up.
Wlad has more of a 'shaky chin' and he tends to panic when hit.

Wlad and Vitali react differently when hit. Wlad seems to panic, and it probably contributes to being hit flush again and going down, where Vitali seems to remain more composed and find a way to weather the storm. Mental influencing the physical.

Nothing wrong with Klitschko chin. Its not iron for sure, but its not that bad as everyone thinks.
He gassed 2 times and eat a lot of punches before he was TKO, and he always gets up. His balance was bad early, and he panic badly when was hard hit.
Sanders KTFO him, but he was hitting him with viscious punches and on the other direction Sanders headbutted him in the same time. Watch match carefully without bias and will see for what im talking about. Sanders land a lot of clean punches and still Wlad finish the match on his feet.
Chagaev hit him with straight left in the chin after brake and Wlad took it pretty well, same with Sam Peter.
And just to be clear i dont say Klitschko have great chin, but its not from glass for sure.
