Let's turn the clock back to 85 /86 when Tyson was coming through the ranks and heading for a title shot. Let's put him at the marvis Frazier stage. He's looking good there's a lot of talk and excitement about this young kid blasting heavy s out in seconds. Now imagine that were today. He's coming through the division today koing the names hanging around in the lower top twenty. Barring a slip up he's guaranteed a title shot soon. How do you favour the contender Tyson against
    Anthony Joshua?
    Deontay wilder?
    Joseph Parker?
Are these guys better, worse or on a level with Berbick, Smith and tucker?
And do you see Tyson defeating them all and unifying the belts?

I'd be thinking don't put him in with Joshua and kill the little fella, he's only a baby.

LOL. But remember that Tyson would actually be the baby here. Even though he looks twenty years older!

I see him beating all the reigning champ s John myself. Not sure if Josh could do as well as tucker did. Parker and wilder? They don't see twelve is my prediction.

That's exactly what I'm saying, Joshua is too big, too powerful, too fast, too aggressive and too courageous for Tyson.

Ahh sorry , got the wires crossed. Well it could well turn out that way Wass, but I'm going the opposite and think Tyson would be to fast, and would hurt Josh fairly early. That version of Tyson is sick, but to be fair Joshua s not Berbick.

    It's a really good question.
I see him blowing out everyone.
Until he gets to Wilder and Joshua. That's when things get muddy.
Gun to my head, I'll favor Tyson over both. I see no escape for these guys once they get tagged.
Joshua might be able to contain him on the inside, and Wilder might be able to put him out with a big punch.
But who knows, it's hard to say.

Joshua would be trying to take his head off on the inside, the kid comes to fight and Tyson never really fought anyone with that attitude at that point in his career with the tools to do so.

In all honesty he would wipe everyone out including Wilder but I don't know what would happen if he faced Joshua, I wouldn't be putting any money on that fight that's for sure.

He'd race to the top of the tree just like he did. Joshua at this stage would get ko'd.

Joshua's style does not match up well to Tyson's, although he has a decent chin and a LOT of power he would not be successful against Tyson. Because this Tyson had head movement and aggressive counter punching. He would take out Joshua within 3 rounds. He would not fight a Bonehugger style fight so he wouldn't survive. He can't box and move like a Tony Tucker, he's not as fast as him anyways.

That's the only outcome I see so far and believe me, I'm an AJ fan. But I have to be realistic. I see it going like the Berbick fight or the Bruno fight.

Wilder would get knocked out early I would imagine.

Joseph Parker can actually box so he may last a few rounds, but in all honestly I see him getting knocked out sooner or later. Or he might put up a Tuckeresque performance.

AJ is way out of Bruno`s class and there`s no way Berbick could have beaten Wlad. J could rattle Tyson`s confidence before the fight because Mike never took his eyes of you waiting for that one moment when you would look away, mind games, with AJ he will fight someone with complete self belief. AJ has brilliant combo`s that would really trouble Mike and those same combo`s would put Tucker into a defensive mode if they ever fought, Tucker froze against Douglas and only won because Buster quit, AJ`s jab when he uses it is better than Buster`s was because he used to over extend with it which Tyson spotted in Japan and tried to time him with uppercuts and kept missing until the 9th round I don`t even know if Tyson could reach a 6ft 6" fighter with an uppercut unless he threw his shot to the body first to bring the head down, you wee being far too simplistic! Bruno?!!!
