There's too many proper ones to mention but how about Dolph Lundgren actually fighting as a heavyweight against the heavyweight champions of his time when Rocky IV came out. So, Tony Tubbs, Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks etc. Dolph had size and power - he was almost like a heavyweight of today in terms of size but around in the 1980's. He was also a full contact karate heavyweight champion so a proper athlete rather than just a movie star.

Huh? Dolf was an actor much more than fighter. He would be totally crushed by any top five hwt from that time. In the end it's the ability to FIGHT that counts. Height, size, looks, strength all means very little if you don't know how to fight.

Oh man, good call. I'd gladly forfeit a month's salary to see the unbridled fury the Brockton Blockbuster might demonstrate in getting up and going after Johnson til one of em was utterly destroyed.

Uh, Greb-Robinson was already said. And I like the idea of Duran-Mosley as well as Williams-Duran.

I'm tempted to go with a mythical Greb-Ketchel war, but I'm gonna go with my boy Sweet Pea Whitaker with all his defensive wizardry, piston jab, thumping body attack, top notch in fighting and speed of foot in going backwards against Homicide Hank Armstrong, with his arsenal of unwavering pressure, world class chin and stamina and that murderous swarming attack. I think that'd make for a really fun match up.

I like that one. Armstrong would be the type of style and force to offset the great skills and defense of Mayweather. Not saying Floyd couldn`t win but he would have to dig deep and fight Hank off of him as much as box him.
