A win versus Calzaghe could give RJJ an additional boost in his ATG career !

Pound for pound doesn't really matter at this stage but he may be welcomed between #7-10 if he clearly wins.

 

Jones has a great chance if he does'nt get stupid and lay on the ropes. Heck if a 43 year old hopkins can take joe to a split decision and land the harder shots on him then jones really has a good chance if he can keep joe's swarming off of him.

 

If Roy Jones jr. defeats Joe Calzaghe the recognized champion in two weight divisions at this point in their respective careers, Jones records a storybook ending that wipes out the pain of his back to back knock out losses to Tarver and Johnson. Roy Jones can go out as he came in - with style and class - by defeating one of the greats of the sport. Roy Jones would rightfully be recognized as one of the greatest ever to lace up a pair of gloves. The man is already a former champion at everything from middleweight to heavyweight with the exception of the crusierweight division. I don't even know why I have to type this out sometimes. . .

if he does beat Calzaghe I would like for him to take on Glen Johnson. Then he will have defeated every fighter he ever faced.
